Great combo, same as mine Nardo with black optics and congratulations. I love the videos they do for you and make it all personal but I guess that's why they do what they do but please don't let them wash your new car anymore then they have to because the amount of swirl marks they put on new vehicles because they don't know how to wash a car properly is unreal. Mine is covered with them, They really need to inform their car washers to use the 2 bucket wash, even if they don't snow foam etc which I know is a more specialist thing but I'm sure they can manage the 2 buckets, it will prevent a good amount of scratches from going onto the car, maybe not all but a lot.

Enjoy the car, you'll love it :thumbs up: Mines getting louder and louder as the days roll on and the amount of attention it gathers is ace.

In all honesty I have a iPhone 6 and my information was that the £325 phonebox will charge a phone and boost phone signal! And that’s it? Also I would need to then but the £35 attachment for the phone to wireless charge.

I got the lead to plug in which works for me, it’s a phone and I only use it as such, unless I was miss imformed is that all it does?

Will car play connect wirelessly?

Not a 3310 - but when you next get a new phone it would have wireless charging. And CarPlay has to be plugged in. There is wireless CarPlay but only BMW supports it currently.

For me as I have an iPhone and an Android I can have them both plugged in and charging and switch between android auto and CarPlay. The wireless box also lets you have two phones connected to Bluetooth at once; so you could be streaming music on your iPhone and still make phone calls with the Nokia. The signal boosting is a useful feature; it sends the signal through the roof antenna which gives superior connection quality. I think those reasons are worth it but the fact is you can use CarPlay and Bluetooth even without the phone box so it’s not the end of the world.

I'm not going to lie though I am missing the sound of my PFL a bit . . .

Has anyone got a picture of a ara blue with sports exhaust? (Black tips) I’m unsure weather to get chrome or black tips on my milltek

Yes mate got the sports exhaust. Black tips look spot on.

I've not really got a great picture on my phone, I'll try and get one over the next few days

First of all I took a lot of convincing that the facelift RS3 was worth swapping to but in my opinion the FL is quicker and handles better - especially on turn in. The car just feels lighter and gives you more feedback. The virtual cockpit is a nice touch too and personally I prefer the steering wheel in the FL. Other than that the cars are very similar - right down to the squeaky brakes . . .

Some advice I would give to potential owners is don't waste money on Mag ride. I had it on my S3 and previous RS3 but didn't spec it on my FL and you literally cannot tell the difference.

One thing is for sure though I am missing the sound of the PFL

I think if there were some proper pops and crackles on downshifts it would help. That's what I miss most. What I will say is that from the outside it sounds great. It just doesn't seem to filter through to the cabin as much as the old engine...different pitch tone and depth to the sound possibly contributing.

Never driven a PFL.

Got 2000miles on my FL and still no squeaky brakes.
I must be doing something wrong !

Collected @ 00:01 this morning, was extremely hairy on the M1 on the way home, only one lane passable at around 30-40mph.

Guy in front of me collected a £94k RS6, he had that sideways in the car park as we left, and on the M1 he was almost sideways across lanes 2-3, must have thought "one blip can't hurt"

Anyway, It's now tucked up for the day as it's still snowing so even though she's home she's being left alone until the road's properly clear
