Yes mate, standard spec here, and it is listed with the 36month subscription...

https://www.audi.co.uk/content/dam/...celists/TTRS-Coupe-And-Roadster-Pricelist.pdf

Your sales guy is like most and clearly know the square root of f all. Sim should be embedded in factory and just need activating, if go into the settings you will find data module, turn this off and back on and it should activate (could be a glitch that it says insert sim)

TT's are a different feel to the A3 base. Glad you're enjoying it though and definitely have to try on a dry day, although good luck finding one lol.
Thanks zaka, that's helpful. I'll let you know how I get on!

Apologies for using the RS3 forum for TTRS questions but there's hardly anyone over on that one!

Quick question for those that might know, does the TTRS come standard with TPMS? I can't see it in the configurator so does it comes standard or can you just not have it?

Ignore that. Think I've just found out that you can only get it on the TTRS if you order the sports pack. Mine has sports exhaust but no mag ride or sports pack.

Check the link I sent previously mate, it has every option and standard listed, more detailed than the configurator.

Just looked, It is same as the RS3 FL. You get it as standard in terms of pressures monitored and you are warned if any deflation occurs. But the option version in the sportsback is for the pressures and temps to be monitored and displayed on VC.

Apologies for the poor photo. Loving it so far. Handling is a big step up over the PFL. Engine note less so, although I got to hear it from the outside earlier and must say it sounds epic. It just doesn't quite translate to that noise from the drivers seat. Still a great sound.

Good spot. Didn't think anyone would clock that. That's a friends car who just happens to be ocd at cleaning cars.

Nice car Doc, almost went for a nardo myself before deciding an M2 would be more practical for a baby on the way :/

On my tts I had to insert a sim to get the hotspot etc working. Not sure if it was an absolute must as I didn’t find the set up that easy to navigate but a 12gb 3 sim off eBay did the trick and never caused any issue in the 6 months I had the car

Why not choose an RS3? Far more practical than an M2?

Good question mate, I guess that’s why I keep loitering about here.

Although similarly priced I’d be paying a lot more for the RS3 currently on a pcp deal so that was one factor as £4K down and £450 a month was too good a deal to sniff at on the M2. I’ll see how long it lasts!

Nearly went for an M2 myself. How do you find it?

After the TTS I can’t lie I love the whole handling, feedback the car brings. Obviously less than ideal conditions currently so I do have to watch what I’m doing a lot more but it’s much more fun to drive. That in itself does become a worry with the impending baby so I am now keeping an eye on the new A45 amg, FL RS3 and even the next gen Golf R as I will likely end up in one of them.

The seats are better than the TTS for adjustability and it’s a nice enough place to sit but for sure Audi has this area licked and you can’t beat a nice Audi cabin imo.

The 6 cyl engine is one thing I missed from my M135/235 days but I have always had my heart set on the 2.5 5 cyl soundtrack so it’s got to happen at some point.

Factory Orders closed again now on the TTRS (24/02/18) should reopen for the F/L (May/June)

Wasn't a very long production run at all!

Better than the 1st time around (2016 Cars) No Factory Orders just Cars From Audi's Expensive Parts Bin
FL vs current. Not sure if the FL pic is genuine.

FL TTRS?! @D0C do you know something we don't, always buying at end of production run ;)

TX.

I was wondering if there'd been a facelift to the TT or not. I been seeing some TTS's around and they all have the PFL S3 rear diffuser.

I know it is a different animal altogether but I have to say that I really hate the TT loaner I have been given. The gearbox is rubbish, you bang your head getting into it, it puts engine noise through the loudspeakers (a total hate of mine) and it is a diesel. And, worst of all, it gives you a Ryan Air style drum roll when you shut the thing down. Grrrrrr.

Also, while it has the VC, Audi have severely limited its capability - an annoying rip off as the hardware would be identical.

Doesn't sound great. Fortunately I'm loving the RS version, other than the brakes, which despite Audi fitting new pads has still not stopped it...surprise surprise.

I can imagine the TTRS is a different beast (apart from the banging head issue and the Ryan Air style brdm brdm on shutdown) - the handling should be spot on based on my piece of sh1t which is actually pretty good.

I just want my f*cking car back in a condition which will stop when asked!

That's funny. There was a person here who insisted that the TT and R8 had the 'full' virtual cockpit while somehow the A3 didn't and kept complaining about the extra MMI screen.

Well, that would be ********. The VC I have is about 50% of the capability of the RS3.

Am I right in saying that only the RS cars have the option of the sports display with the large central rev counter? Must say the VC has grown on me. Even the noise with the windows down is good. Strange how it doesn't filter through to the cabin with the windows up, however.

Well, the car I am in doesn't have it - and not much else either.

I actually like the shutdown tone :whistle2:

S cars also have the central ref counter but do not have the G meter etc enabled.

It just reminds me of things fitted out in yellow and blue, paying £50 to put something in the boot and then driving to a location 50 miles away from your destination. They should at least give you an option to kill it!

The ONLY feature not included is activating the cars WIFI hotspot, you need to pay for this.

That’s strange as my FL S3 is working as a hotspot and I am not paying for it.
It worked from day 1 of ownership once I registered my Audi Connect account.

No idea, but I wouldn't tell them that. All features should work for 36 months, but apparently if you ask nicely they will give you an extra year, you need to buy data for the hot spot, or have an audi fail in your favour ;)
