hey all, I got the code for my RNS-D today. However when I plug it in after doing the retro fit of a double din cage it looks like this despite entering the right code:

(That message roughly translates to SAFE-Pin not connected according to google translate)

Although, I can’t get this to plug in which may be the source of my trouble? What is this cable for and do I need it/how do I get it to plug into the back of my unit.

Cable

Many thanks, Kevin.

OK, all other cables connect into the back of it, does this mean as long as I didn't intend to use Sat Nav (which I don't) that I wouldn't need to connect this cable?

Could it be a wrong code entered?

Just to clarify the above, I intend only to use this as a CD player with a display. I don't intend to use it for any sort of TV/DVD or Sat Nav function or that. What cable mods do I need if any to make this work?

Thanks, Kevin.
