So all was going well today... fitted the new wheels and tyres, hard wired in the dash cam and fitted the S4 cabriolet carbon trim, bunch of other things.

Went to the shops to get some lunch, parked the car - didn't realise it was so close the kerb, anyway, got in, reversed and crunch... turns out the underside of the bumper got stuck on the kerb and ripped the front bumper. It all pushes back into place and I can drive it back home, but its obviously not a solution.

What are my options for fixing this? it looks like the N/S bumper attachment to the wing and liner is broken, the bumper itself is also broken on that leading edge - its ripped the bit with the bolts off. So I am guessing its a new bumper job.

Any suggestions welcome

Can you clue a small ally plate to the plastic trim and put longer fixings in ?

new/second hand bumper get a se trim buper will be cheaper good excuse to fit a after market honey comb/rs4 style grill

Not good Lee. will the broken parts fibre glass back on. Could make a temporary repair then keep your eyes open for a decent second hand bumper.

Gutted for you mate, especially being a fellow cab owner........plenty on ebay at the moment though, just a ballache to deal with.

Hi peeps, thanks for the replies, I've looked at the ones on eBay and the closest colour and fit thats a match is about £400, however, I have protected NCB so I think I am going to speak to insurance and get it done tip top. I probably wont be happy with a second hand one anyway, and it may need paint. I spoke to a bodyshop I know and with a new audi bumper, clips and paint with fitting is coming in at £750+VAT. Incidentally the same but using a DTM bumper (again new from audi is £850+VAT)

hmmm...

.....NO BRAINER.....DTM ALL DAY LONG...!!!!

I did exactly the same thing a few weeks ago on a kerb in McDonalds. Managed to push bumper back in place but a few of the clips on the bumper itself have snapped. I assume I will need a new bumper in time.
