That's what imageshack did few years back. I've lost old pics on my thread but now you can upload pics directly to the forum. Back then we didn't have that option.

Classic bait and switch tactic. I would love to know how many people closed their accounts with them.

Twitter had a fit over it too.

Hmm. Any other site we can use which is similar?

Yeah good point, what I do if I need to upload one is go on the computer and then use the snipping tool to copy the picture in effect which then outputs it into a different file type which is normally always 40% smaller than the original file size.

Seeing if this works

Looking good mate.

May have to edit the pictures see if that works. This one did as a test...

Dogmount fitted today. Low speed i.e setting off can really feel the vibration. Havent managed check gearchange etc yet. Garage only round corner.

Autotech internals fitted

Cam chain kit and cam follower done. My mate said there was literally nothing wrong with them both but least there done now.

He was slightly concered that the cam seems louder now than it did before and to be honest it does to me also which is strange. Car pulls alright etc.
Is this to do with hpfp? I read somethong do with cam lobe and 50% more pressure needed? But ive no idea what it means

Oo fitted new plugs as well... RS4 valve will have wait when i do the decoke

H&R lowering springs getting fitted friday.... looking forward to it

What are your thoughts on the dogmount now that you've had it fitted for a few days?

Cam chain tensioner is hit and miss but fatal if it does go, so always worth doing as a preventative measure for peace of mind despite the cost, especially when going for more power.

Same with the cam follower, although much cheaper thankfully, it should be treated as a service item and checked every 5K when at stage 2+ & above.

Show us some pics when she's lowered.

Not drove my car much as ive been getting tram to work. But when i do drive it i can tell it makes difference when gear changing. With dsg sometimes gearing down more so when coming to a stop it would get a bit clunky so to speak but thats gone now. Albiet its been replaced with bit of vibration instead.

She's sitting good mate, are you happy with the spacers too? Can't see from the angles pictured.

Yeah very happy, I will have get some pics at better angles. Currently still trying to figure out my obd2 port. It did work as I used the torque app. Now when I plug either of my 2 adapters it just comes up with a red light. On Bluetooth it says connect to obd2 but I can't actually do out.

A tip for people using Android go into there camera settings and change the pixel size like 123x720 and take your pic and usually you find the smallest size is adquate for here and then just full screen it when uploaded here.
I don't know if you have to resize on every pic or if some phones keep the settings until you change them .The Samsung S6 keeps them as thats what i have and just checkex there still at the settings i set a while bk

Your wheel spacers look about spot on, what width are they ?

Sounding good buddy, it'll be worth the wait! You'll have to let us know how you get on.

I need to find out when my diff was last serviced, is the interval every 40K? Could you let me know the cost for this is as well please if your bill gets broken down?

Am not sure on the interval mate. I also wouldnt be able give you a price as its through a friend, lets just say for all that am paying much less than Audi charge for just the dsg

Fitted the pro alloy intercooler yesterday along with the cts discharge pipe and turbo outlet. Cant for sure hear the turbo better. And it does pull that little harder at the minute. Looking forward to custom exhaust then mapping.

Done the DSG service which has improved gear changes, no clunk from reverse to drive, haldex and diff done also.

New bulbs and RS3 grill fitted also.

Car is looking good mate, this next month is going to be fun!

So far so good with the Mintex M1144 pads and standard brake setup I've found.

Thanks mate and yeah sounds good then. Really looking forward to seeing what the s3 is like with more grunt

So. Little update.

On monday i went back to stg performance in wakefield. They changed my back box for a larger one and replaced the tips for what i wanted in the first place. Fantastic customer service from them. Sounds just how i wanted it now.

Then tuesday was the big ive been waiting since i got the car last march haha. R-Tech day :)

Set off at 0530 and dropped the car off. Me and the misses went to hooters in Nottingham then came back to watch it on the dyno.

I had new thermostat fitted, cam follower, oil and filter, runner flap delete kit. Stage2+ custom map with the DSG map also. And a few pops over 5k rpm.

Car flies now, much much better.

Made 374.7 bhp and 408.3 lbft.

Next stop is brakes and anti roll bars & anti lift kit

Not been on this for a while. But the car is now back in its standard format and will be picking the car up today hopefully. Some of you already know the 2+ parts are for sale. The car i will just trade it into arnold clark or something.
