I agree with martin. Black will suit your front end better. Looks really good as it is but I think that will finish it off.

I'm going to do the full mesh upgrade on mine at some point. Such an improvement over the squares

Yep the grille makes a big difference look forward to yours being done , now got to take bumper off again deep joy!

New rear springs and shocks are on. I managed to undo the inner bolt of the upper control arm on the side where my camber bolt is frozen. Would have been impossible to install the spring on that side without undoing this bolt.

In two minds on weather I should take the chance to cut the frozen bolt out and replace with new arms and bolts both sides as I'm only an exhaust hanger away from being able to drop the whole rear subframe so will be easy job.
Interestingly I found that both original rear springs had snapped at the first coil which explains why my Avant sat lower at the back.
Snow has stopped play for now just the upgraded motorsport ARB and poly snub mount to fit then it's off for alignment once the suspension settles.
Car HAS to be finished next weekend at the latest as the missus needs her car and I ain't getting the bus!! Currently entering week 4 of this suspension rebuild!

On another wet weekend I managed to fit my DV relocate then messed it all up so its back to the drawing board on that project...on a better note fitted my DRL LED kit and Morimoto Xenon bulbs, that went better than expected and without taking the bumper off, I don't have much skin left on my fingers now , a tight fit is not the word I would best describe the access to the nearside lamp top be honest , all most impossible but still doable .
Then on a down side ran vcds and had a whole raft of engine management errors logged.......i'll leave that till later now, so on a scale of 10 today has been about 4 , ten being very good..lol

I had the cam belt and water pump changed. Also replaced Egr valve with a Allard Egr delete kit

looks good, the shut lines may look better a little thinner , otherwise spot on .

there are two adjusters which the bumper sits on, they control the height , they can be a pain to shift aswell as they can corrode or break.
they are either side of the grill.
I was going to remove my bumper over the weekend to do the headlamps but managed without taking it off, I did however manage to pickup two new mounts and rivets from my local tps on Friday, and they were in stock which I thought was odd as it is not something they sell everyday.
i'll keep them for another time now.

they are not expensive either, I was expecting them to be over £20 each , but the two adjustable mounts with rivets came in at around £10 inc vat....bargain for audi parts.

New rear diffuser arrived today. Will be fitting it to the car later this year when I put the milltek on.

Ebay mate. £145 including delivery.

I’ll see if I can find the link. If I remember rightly it had an obscure title. The bloke had a few

he get's them on and off , more off though, they were never destined for uk cars , a few European and far off lands, so he is importing them or has access to a batch of imported items.

stuck in a brand spanking new rev "G" DV just too see if there is any difference between the "C" ,"D" and "G" , I've tried the first two with no obvious differences to performance, also a "G" I allready had , so now its 3rd time round with a new one to see if it's really is any better.

Front bumpers finally been off today! Was easier than expected.
De-tangoed headlights with black inserts, black grille and front splitter fitted!

Then had to Soto out the little pond that had formed under the battery. Drain plug was completely blocked.
It’s now in the bin - wont be blocked again!!

Will be interested to see how it pans out, saw the debate in the other thread about this so would love another opinion thrown into the mix.

I hope there is some difference or I've just wasted another £35.00 , i'm not fully convinced yet that any of them have a really noticible improvement, but I could be wrong , we'll see .

I rather like the white or grey stiching on the seats and headrest's chap, very trendy.

Thanks Rob, I believe it’s part of the optional Valcona leather pack. The stitching matches the central colours of the seats. Looked at a few wagons before I found one with all the toys and interior I liked.

My old bus came with the Valcona option but in all black, and I must say it is very nice too, very supple and comfy, not hard like at lot of leather finishes.
