Picked mine up yesterday ... the car is better than I could have even imagined it would be.. was a little worried having not driven one without mag ride .. but have to say it's outstanding much better than the a45 and m3 that's in our household!

Very similar to mine....any more photos? Looks sweet
It was a stock car, so only waited a week for them to PDI, and managed to beat them up on price a bit too....
only thing missing that i may of thought about having is the roof rails

Nice, always good to get a bargain. Good to hear it’s worlds apart from your S3 and I’m coming from an R.

Specced roof rails myself, do love the look of them! Surely can get them aftermarket or Audi to fit?

i did wonder.... not sure drilling the roof (headlining issues) is something i could trust anyone but the factory to do
had them on my S3 and never used them.... .

Ha I’ve only got them for the looks....will also never be used! Looks cracking. Hope your enjoying that sports exhaust

Only a week to PDI? what did they do paint it in gold with naked virgins?

They don’t even need 2 days to PDI - a week is taking the ****

@Spinstorm based on your following of the build procedure... where do you believe your car is currently? We both had the same build date and I’m guessing we’re both showing QC now on the tracker

It is being built now; you can check with online customer services using the chat button which is on the right hand side of the Audi homepage - just click on contact us and it normally pops up then. They work from 8am - 8pm I believe.

They told me my car is being built - just like yours is being built. My S3 went to stage 30 - left the factory - on the Wednesday night at midnight (though sometimes updates around 1.05am as well) on build week - so check out the tracker after midnight and see what it says.

Nice one mate... it’s all getting that little bit more real now :sunglasses:

Great to see all the new owners in the U.K. and EU collecting their cars! I envy you guys for getting the sport back:). Would have been a no brainer for me coming from a MK7R.

I just wanted to mention, the blade wheels are ridiculously heavy for what they are. They are roughly 29lbs per wheel. The looks definitely grew on me, especially when lowered; but they were just far too heavy to justify keeping for me. Here’s a couple other wheel options I tried. HRE FF01s (24lbs) and BBS RGRs (19lbs). Car is lowered on MSS kits fully adjustable sport springs in all the shots.

Pure sex. I actually prefer the RS-GTs (especially those) over the RG-Rs but the RG-Rs fell in my lap:)

Both are super strong, super lightweight forged wheels. And German to boot!! I really have only liked some of BBSs forged wheels and not really an LM fan. Their cast and flow formed wheels are a bit on the heavy side. Interesting note, the OEM blade wheels are BBS and most likely cast or flow formed.

I actually have 4 sets of wheels and tires right now. The stock set, the HREs on 235/35/19 P4S4, the RG-Rs I will test fit with 245/35/19 P4S4. Right now I have my winters on which are 18x8.5 Neuspeed Rse10s with 225/40/18 nokian WRG. The Neuspeeds weigh roughly 19lbs a piece and the drop of 10lbs of unsprung weight per corner is definitely noticeable.

My preference is to stick with the RG-Rs for the 5lbs additional loss of unsprung weight per corner over the HREs. I may powder coat them if they test fit nicely this spring. I do love the HREs but I’ve rocked them for a couple seasons now on different cars. They are really nice wheels though. Winter setup below.

So, is there ever a time snow has fallen and a car photo hasn’t been taken? I went out this morning to take the girlfriend to work, got a bit distracted on the way home and ended up searching for photo locations. I can confirm, the car goes sideways. It’s so playful, brilliant fun and the Quattro System is really impressive.. however the way it struggles to stop is a little concerning, winter tyres required.... apologies for the picture overload!

Stunning colour @AudiNutta. Just had a good long look at these photos and think this colour is perfect for the RS3. Alu pack is also the perfect compliment, although I would change the rear diffuser to gloss black. Gorgeous!

Thanks very much, I am really happy with it.

I think I’d be happy with the Black Pack on my car but the Alu is a really good contrast, Alu has always been my preference.

I find I struggle to ‘bond’ with it, I absolutely loved my Fiesta EcoBoost but I put in time and love making it something special.. the RS3 is perfect as it is, so it doesn’t feel like it’s ‘mine’ :-/

Even my RS dust caps have to come off, they are pretty much welded on because of the TPMS valves.

@AudiNutta...
I notice your above post, I forgot to put one of dust caps on after adding some air and every now and again the TPMS tells me I've lost air in one of the tyres which come to think of it I think its the one with no dust cap.

Could the TPMS be sensitive to missing dust caps ???

Different angle:)

I very much doubt it, the valve is a sealed unit and a dust cap wouldn’t stop air leaking if you had a faulty valve. It might be worth asking Audi, seeing as it’s the TPMS valve it isn’t a £5 job at your local tyre place.
