In that case, I don’t think it’s just a case of enabling the menu, there are parts required to retrofit it I believe. There are a few retrofitters around these forums, I’m sure one will be along soon to help

Activating ADS / Audi Drive Select requires the purchasing of a retrofit kit. Once the hardware is installed you then need to visit an Authorised VW Group services provider, such as myself, in order to have the feature both coded and activated via the VW Group online network and official diagnostic application.

Some things can be enabled only by coding. Sunroof is not one of them. I think the question is fair as others might want to know how this is possible. DJAlix gave a good response.
Not sure if anyone can give you a good response on your sunroof request.

Here you go as I retrofitted to my car here in the states, but as djalix stated, coding and verification from VAG headquarters is required.
You also already have a similar ADS in the car, put the gear shifter into sport mode and it does the throttle and dsg. You will not be able to obviously have suspension settings. The steering weight can be enabled to the sport mode (weighted feel) also via vcd/obd11.
If I were to do it over, I'd skip the feature and spend the money elsewhere.

You won't be able to get it without the kit. It requires SWOP software to be downloaded to the car. The activation number is also, I believe, generated using your VIN number.

Still gonna need the retrofit kit as you cannot buy the software version management (SVM) and feature licence codes without it. Up to you if you install the new button panel or not.

I retrofitted ADS in my A3 8V (intstalled & connected button, enabled ADS in CAR menu) last thing to do is coding. Everything was done by myself (soldering, installing, coding in VCDS).
I don't have activation document. So I have found dude who disable CP and do other works, I think he have chinese odis or something else because he have low prices for services.
My question is, does any dude with odis or something similiar can enable - code an ADS in my car even if i don't have activation document?
How it can be done? I also installed airbag off switch and can't coding it with VCDS too. It should be enabled with an odis too?

A genuine activation cannot be completed without an unused activation document (x3 codes). The "coder" you have found will be hacking your vehicles CAN Gateway in order to complete these works.I have to refresh

I checked on audi poland website and this product is not available anymore. And I have installed some things and hacked MMI unit in my car so I have fears to go to audi service to enable ADS. My friend told me that he was in Audi for enabling ADS (couple of years ago he paid for that 400euro) and service can't do nothing, they have to reset all functions back to stock, because he had many things enabled in VCDS. After that service was able to enable ADS.
Truly i don't want to pay so much money for enabling one thing - it's not worth that money.
I'm asking about guide because in my neighbourhood this "coder" is closest to me, and when im asking him for enabling ADS he didn't really know about what i'm asking

BTW. how about coding airbag switch (from glovebox), VCDS says its a SVM thing. I don't found any retrofit package or activation code. How to code it?

Ah, well you have no option but to have hacked options moving forward then. ODIS is the official tool. Hacking tools are different. Just because someone has ODIS it does not mean they can activate what they like because it it only br allowed to do what Audi / VW Group let it.
