Hey guy's

Probably another stupid question so I best apologise in advance.... :/

As most of you will be aware buy my constant posting at the minute I've recently picked up a new A3 and when I first picked her up I plugged my phone (Galaxy S7) into the USB slot under the armrest, installed the Android Auto app and it just doesn't do anything? I select the "Audi Smartphone" tab on the MMI screen and all it does is send me to the "connection manager" screen, then when I try to connect it doesn't let me?! Can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong? My A3 does have the tech pack so I thought it was meant to link directly to the car through the phone box too as opposed to plugging it in via the USB? or does that just boost the aerial signal? I've attached some images so you have an idea what I'm rattling on about.

I've also attached a screenshot of the android auto app from my phone, I assume it should just mirror the same screen to my car?

Thanks again all. :)
