Do you use anyone antifreeze or use a certain brand?

thought I’d throw a mundane question to you lot on a rather slow Saturday afternoon.

Just looking at Halfords etc.

Is any brand better then another?

The info is in your car manual, Audi / VW are very specific on which type to use, the FL models need G13 for the coolant antifreeze top-up.

Can’t find manual right now. Would G13 be the correct coolant for at 150 TDI?

I use the ready mixed one and keep it in the car. Before I bought it I phoned my local Audi dealership up and aks to speak to the service manager, I asked if it was OK to use and he said yes :)

If your car is a 2.0 TFSI and suffers from the well documented coolant loss, the stealer should give you a bottle FOC, mine did.

It's best to dilute with distilled, or de-ionized water; however some people just add tap water.
 
Just been out and bought G13 coolant from Audi and it says mix with distilled water only. Where will i get distilled water from? And is it really necessary?
