Valet Pro citrus pre wash

Hi all,

As the title above, I recently purchased some citrus pre wash. Reading the instructions on the back it says apply using a pump sprayer. What size would be sufficient to do the whole car? 2L or 5L?

I used mesto 1.5L foamer and have a dilution ratio of 1:6 for heavily soiled and covers my entire car easily. (I have an A3 hatchback)

Thanks very much for the quick reply, I have an A4 so I guess a 2L one would be more than adequate for my needs.

No problem! Yeah I would say 2L is a safe bet. The Mesto Foamer works a treat with the valet pro! I'm not sure if you can get it in a 2L variant

@MKC - As the car is always a lot more dirty, hence I use a little more product
+ I always pay a bit more attention to the underside of the car in winter

Yes, yes I know I have issues lol

I use one of these, do you find you need to pump it again after about 5 seconds of use?

Yeah it does, I spend more time pumping it than anything haha Iirc it says no more than 30 pumps maximum but usually I pump to about 45ish so I can use it for a bit longer

I use a spray bottle. I find the roof and bonnet don’t need treating, so it’s the sides, tailgate and rear bumper, front bumper and wheels and about half a litre usually covers it. Never thought of using a pump spray but I might give it a try next time. Mine is 3 litre capacity.
