Forge Motorsport spacers

I'm looking at getting 20mm spacers for all 4 corners of my S3 saloon. Also looking at lowering on H&R springs. My question is, would 20mm be too much and also where would I get the correct bolts as I have no idea what size or type I would require. Any advice would be much appreciated.
 
Interested in doing this also so commenting for the thread follow.

awesone gti will sell the bolts for a quid or two each
radius not tapered.

I found others on ebay that I have posted above. Tempted to give them a try as they are cheap but then I don't know if that is a bad thing. Yep I'm a fellow firefighter :fireengine:

Yeah I’m always a bit hesitant when things are really cheap. May be better to pay a bit more for a trust brand or seller?

yes, something like this id stick to the branded names, and hub centric ones rather than washer types.

They are hub centric. I get what people are saying about sticking with a known brand but surely as long as it fits? Surely it's not something that can fail as it's not a moving part

its just my opinion, that i like to get tried and tested items.

Ive got 16mm front and 20mm rear but you'd get away with 20s.

Unsure what to go for on the front. Basically just want the wheel on the arch and will be lowering too

15mm on my front and 20mm on the rear for me, like I said on FB you're welcome to view the car and hear it at any time. :)
 
Like ive said earlier up the page mate 16mm and 20mm

Do not be fooled, these bolts are high tensile steel buy from a trusted source (after all they are holding your wheels on !!)

Get what you are saying but where do I get bolts from a trusted seller? I contacted Forge Motorport regarding bolts and they advised I get them from Ebay!
 
I’m trying to remember where I purchased some ten years ago!! I’m sure it was off one of the vag sites

Well it's obvious that it's going to be harsher but I like it and with the spacers on it works well. It all depends on what you after really.

Got mine today and seem tidy enough although I was expecting them to be heavier lol. Did you get the bolts from the same company?
