Never ending s3 has another issue....

Hello all...my s3 has now developed a strange issue an i dont have a clue what it is....

The story.

Car was fine.. i left it for 2 months on axle stands while i did some work on it....now driving it judders violently in reverse! and downshifting mainly 3rd-2nd.... clutch/flywheel/pressure plate/release bearing all new 1 year ago.

I have done 30mile an it still hasnt changed. Car drives fine apart from the bad judder!

When in reverse the front wheels shake almost as if it has a welded diff etc (experience from friends drifting)

Does anyone have an idea!? Im clueless with gearboxes! Sounds to me internal in gearbox maybe? Cant see what else it would be!?

Worth a look matey! Did yours give similar symtoms? Only reverse an downshifting?

This has been back off stands for a while now an it still does it... will get a video of it on the weekend while i check around the prop!

So got under the car this morning..

Few photos of the propshaft in the centre were the rubber mount is. All feels pretty secure no massive amount of play in my opinion.




Did get a video of the front wheel shake as i try to reverse.. will try an post a link to that now..
