You'll not get any dye transfer from jeans etc on lunar silver leather

I really recommend these 2 products

Valet pro leather soap, it's relatively cheap £10

And to protect the leather and preserve the leather this kit is the best on the market

How did you not get any dye transfer from jeans? :O I’ve been told my seats will be ruined from jeans.

Not once did l get dye transfer wore several pairs of new jeans during the time l had the car

Audi's leather has a PV coating on it which in turn prevents dye transfer as its non porous....

Do you wear cheap or designer jeans?

Reason I ask, apparently expensive jeans are terrible for it.

Zara or Next lol
If you clean and preserve the leather on a weekly basis your seats will look new even after a few years
What will happen is the PV coating can wear away through abrasion, this is where the Swisswax leather glaze comes into play, buy it l swear if you don't rate highly l will refund your money

I have Next jeans, so happy days! :lmfao: All I wear is jeans, I was about to try and change my wardrobe to preserve the leather.

My detailer uses Gyeon Leather Coat, which adds a factory matt finish and took a couple of months to visibly wear off. I was going to get him to reapply that?

Leather Glaze rather than Swissvax Leather Milk? Can't really decipher the marketing spiel on their website

IMO, Swissvax is not worth the cost. I highly recommend DR LEATHER. Very well know product (wipes and sprays) for detailers.

id guess that glaze is more of a barrier to block contaminants from penetrating the leather and the milk is more for nourishment, i have black leather so I just use the milk....that reminds me, I've only put it on once in the 4+ months i've had the car....

I use gtechniq leather guard on my lunar silver interior every couple of months and gtechniq tri clean weekly to keep them clean.
I've only had the car 7 months but I do drive it fairly regularly in my work clothes and always in jeans the rest of the time and they are still immaculate.
I was wary of the colour when I first got it but I think it looks great and prefer it to black now

@jassyo06 will the Swissvax help with the slight cracking you get? This is the first car I've had with any kind of leather so not sure how best to tackle this.

Hi guys, have to second the Gyeon leather coat as it was applied to my S3. Easy maintenance. Had the car for just under 2 years with no seat covers on either seat and was used pretty much every day, workwear included. The guy from Bradford who eventually bought the car couldn't believe how new the seats looked.
