Went to see this today in imax....

The other half was more interested in seeing it than I was, however I actually really enjoyed it, some good action sequences, coupled with laughs in between.

Quite a few stars in this too as is an hilarious cameo / small part performance from a well known singer.

In one part I just kept thinking of the Meerkats manners maketh the man

Wasn't overly impressed with the first one, however clips I've seen of the new one look promising.

I enjoyed the first one too, came as quite a surprise as I had no idea what it was about.

The second one - well I suppose I knew what to expect this time, so the impact was less. I did enjoy it though, just not as much as the first.

I understand too that the original running time of this sequel was well over 3 hours, so it must have been heavily edited to bring it down to a more reasonable stretch. Maybe there will be a full cut coming out sometime.

Same as Bristle Hound- liked the first one- really disappointed with this. Just trying to cash in on the success of the first. Elton John was just embarrassing. It was also crazy loud, which didn't help.
