Good Morning,

I had a few things done to my car yesterday amongst which was the installation of door/puddle lights. They are ok but really dim. Only in real pitch black darkness can you see any light coming out of them. They seem like LED's in there & not those little bulbs that are usually in the interior lights. Is there a way of me making them brighter? i haven't taken them out yet to inspect the bulb but its on both sides so assume its the projector that has been installed...

Any tips would be great.

If you had OEM lighting retrofitted you will find that they are pretty dim to be honest. Am actually thinking about replacing my LEDs with some from tr8ups.

Cheers @DJAlix . Took out the original ones (which were genuine Audi/Vw door lights) and put in these you can see in the foto below. I quite like them but i know they might not be to everyones taste. Also changed the footwell lights as they seemed quite dim. Very happy with the retrofitted lights now. The OEM bulbs/projectors for the doors & footwells seem rubbish.

Speak to t8ups (www.emtuning.co.uk).

He's a member on here and is the guy to go to for everything light related. Quality products, service and price. Currently spec'ing up my new 8V with him.
