Rs3 8v OEM caliper decals

Does anyone know where I can get OEM RS3 8v caliper decals from?

I have a set of used calipers away getting repainted as the paint is peeling and chipped, the problem I have is getting new logos for them to put on after they have been repainted. I can buy them on eBay but they're not exactly the same colour wise.
Also tried my local Audi parts department but they have said they don't do them as the come as part of the caller.

Any help would be great

Brembo will have the contract to supply calipers to Audi conforming to a set specification that will include any artwork. So in theory, you will be better off trying to get replacements from Brembo - but good luck with that!
You will be better off trying to find a graphics specialist to make them, but for a one off, expensive. Maybe Tom.H above is such a graphics person. Make sure when you do find a manufacturer, that they use top quality process and material as there is nothing worse than faded decals!
One thing though - why are your existing calipers peeling? is the car still under warranty?
 
Tom I have a picture of the caliper before they went away for repainting, not sure how to get it up though.

Hal I'm upgrading them and have bought the caliper used, they have some wear and when they've been taken off the brake fluid hasn't been cleaned off properly so it's bubbled the paint.
 
Is anyone able to post a pic up of the OEM caliper decals?
 
Not the best but gives idea of the correct colours.

The ones above are slightly different from what was on the ones I bought. Same silver outline but white in the centre of the RS instead of black. Now I have 3 styles lol.
 
Lol pinched pic from some FL images.

Give me an hour when I finish work and I'll physically check my PFL.

I did remake some S ones for another member, took a photo of the caliper plate then digitised it.

Was then a silver base with the red and white stuck on the top.

So it looks like I need the ones that you have both pictured above then. I mean the ones on eBay don't look too bad but I was wanting them to look as OEM as possible.

I do know I need them about 71-72mm in width as I've measured what's on them.

Tom how much would you be to knock these up? If you wouldn't mind that is.

Can do you them for £3 posted, that'd be like the pic Lee posted and the ones I posted (obviously with RS3 though)

Yep, would be silver vinyl with the white RS and red stuck over the top. Plenty easy enough to apply, application tape goes over the top which holds the sticker in place.

I guess you could lacquer over the top of them to avoid any issues in the future, especially with pressure washing etc.

No - lacquer will not stop decals peeling and might get discoloured over time. If you use top quality material is all that is needed.

D'oh! Of course, it's been a long day!

Come to think of it actually, my R32 had .:R logos on the calipers in vinyl when I bought it and they were still going strong when I sold it at 11 years old.

Calipers are powder coated so no lacquer is needed. With top quality vinyl material the self-adhesion burns itself onto the powder coat so it will not peel. Insist your supplier uses high temp vinyl with high temp adhesive.
Some transfer type decals will have a lacquer over them, but this is only where a base and clear type finish is used, that is highly unlikely to be used on calipers.
