Has anyone ever experienced this screen? And what to do? I have b9 MMI high I think. Tried reset with two buttons and centre button but that's for main mmi screen only.

That looks like a hardware fault to my untrained eye! My guess would be putting it straight in for a new dash to be honest...

It's possible that it a loose/faulty connection, but it's also possible that the display or graphics card that runs the display is faulty.

Either way I think a trip to the dealer is in order.

Also, if you had virtual cockpit, for example, where would you stand on fighting a speeding ticket should you exceed the speed limit but not really at fault because you can't see your actual speed?!

Head up display :rockwoot:

Not all VC cars have head up,display, if the VC goes then the car would probably be deemed un roadworthy and should not be used.
My VC is playing up and has spent three days in the dealer trying to get to the bottom of it, it's looking like a new display will now be fitted.

Contacted audi assist and they won't come out as it's 'not important'!!!

Seeing a 99.9% of people have a phone with GPS built in and you can get apps that show you your speed for free and an in-car holder costs £1.99 which would allow you to use it legally (no different than glancing at Sat Nav after all) I doubt you would get off with the ticket.

As above, technically the car would be classed as un-roadworthy and shouldn't be driven anyway.

Feels good to be just 0.1% of `people`.

In the eyes of the law there is no defence here as it is down to the driver of the vehicle to ensure the road worthiness and funtions of his vehicle.

That sucks!
I experienced that with a previous car throwing an engine management light, was deemed as not important because I wasn't broken down!

When is it booked in with Audi?

Earliest I can get is Friday next week if I drive 30 mile. My local one is 'full' until end of sept!more annoying is they are trying to charge me a £15 admin fee for courtesy car!!!! Is this common??? I've never known it!!!!!

£15! no way, I was told £12 if I wanted the zero excess policy, but when picking the car up they said nothing and the documentation said it was zero anyway!
Tell em to foxtrot oscar on that one, you want the car for free!

Given the car's faulty then charging for a courtesy car seems a little harsh. How about suggesting you'll use a taxi for the period and send the dealer the invoices

Is this admin charge for a courtesy car a common thing for Audi?

I've driven BMW's, Mercs...even Hyundai's. And I've never been charged for a courtesy car.

Just booked my car in to investigate the hazard light issue and was told there would be £21 admin fee for a courtesy car. Will argue the case when I take the car in.

We've been chaged a £10 admin fee for a courtesy car when ours has gone in for a service, which is one thing, but for warranty work, never, ever. It's broke and it's their fault, so you should not be paying to get about while they fix their problem.

Yep. Agree completely. No way would it pay for a courtesy car if my car was in for warranty repairs. And to be honest I wouldn't be best chuffed being charged for one for even having it in for a service etc.

Just drove back from Cornwall to Newcastle. Will call in morning. It beeped a few times on way up. Checked tyre pressure etc. I'll phone again in morning.

Car is now in. Audi assist can't see anything wrong with regards to ️ light which turned red this morning. Engine hiccupped on way to audi too...!! Gonna need a full display unit....

Hopefully this will be resolved quickly and you'll get your car back soon...
