Hi mate and welcome to the forums :)

Just brought a 14 plate 2.0tdi s line 5 door sportback in black and can see the swirl marks etc so looking at giving the car some love.

So where did you bring it from? :p

To answer your question: I haven't used that, but if you are paying that you may as well spend another £20 and get a proper DA. I have a black car and use a DA costing about £80 along with Meguiar's Ultimate compound. This shows how well it works...

Yeahhh I have been looking about tbh with you mate, what sites do you use for your cleaning gear like polisher ?

I usually use juicy detailing

For the whole car you could use that, but you may be better with a dedicated 240v DA.

For small corrections (that my wife seems to constantly need on her car) I use this little kit that was less than 30quid for all of it

the Slims DA looks very similar to the DAS ones, for the money it looks a bargain, and I guess it would be a lot easier to use than the Meg drill attachment

i've got the autobrite DA21 which is okay, but their customer service is poor

Thats exactly what I thought, for an extra 23 quid you get 3 pads, a bag and the polisher so not bad all round tbf. Have given them an email to find out some more info etc so hopefully sort something out with them

i'd get one if i didn't already have one

Looks like the one I've just bought from them, I bought a package with pads and polishes, about £140 for it all and a bag included.
Not been able to use it yet due to the weather

What polishes etc did it come with?

Auto Finesse revitalising kit and pads

That does look like a really good set. Might have to get that one myself !! As I was only going to add bits to make a collection to use which was going to cost around that plus a bit extra !!

Just ordered the following

-Slims DA (Das-6) Machine Polisher
-Auto finesse revitalise kit with pads
-Chemical guys buffing towel
-Auto finesse buffing towel

In total come to about £149. Quite a reasonable price if you ask me. Cant wait for it to arrive and to be able to use it :)
