Boost pressure regulation
PO299-000-Control Range Not Reached - intermittent - MIL ON

I have just had my car in for service and this is the print out they gave me from my current engine light being on. Any ideas? They've checked the pipes etc. The strange thing is I don't feel like im losing any power but car can go into limp mode when over ragged. The cylinder misfiring has been sorted now.

Could be the diverter valve itself, easy enough to check if so. Depending on which A/S3 you have and the location of the unit. I took the stock one out and replaced it with a GFB DV+ :)

Well I have a 1.4 TFSI 2011 (insurance reasons) ill watch the video and try locate it! I have googled it and it did talk about that as a possible cause!

Engine management light is now off! Came to the conclusion that due to the cylinder misfiring the boost pressure obviously wasn't reached therefore throwing the light on. New plugs and coil 4 days later the computer seems to of picked back up on the missing boost and so far has sorted the problem!
