Not my idea of parking sensors but perhaps Suzuki think differently?

Found this at the train station when I returned after an already stressful day.

Damaged bumper and pushed the bracket into the quarter panel.

Driver denies leaving it parked like that - continental drift is obviously quickening!

Insurance is now trying to sort :sob:

I'd check to see if there is any CCTV around to prove this awful parking, hope you get it sorted out Swanny.

Cheers,

At least I have a witness that saw me park in the morning and another that took photos at night which the insurance says is sufficient for me!

Just hassle I don't need at the mo

Man. I hope you get it sorted. It's always people with crap cars hitting nice cars I think it's down to not caring about damageing there own cars. Where nice car owners take more care.... might sound like a biggot but I always park next to that nice Mercedes in the car park than the bangers lol

Cheers mate,

The thing that got me is the attitude when I pointed it out. Probably only @ £100 worth of damage, hire car and insurance costs will probably come out @ £1k.

I would have just said sorry and send me the estimate!

People who do that kind of thing are just inconsiderate. Selfish and more or less degenerates. I'm Lucky I drive from my garage to work ( small company of 5 in countryside office blessed I know) with private parking and then my gym with private parking so I hopefully will nether know the pain of this happening to me in always been a phobic of people's jealousy

Having seen some of the ways people park their cars, nothing surprises me now.

Saw a lady in a 17 plate Evoque just reverse into a bike shelter, get out, shrug and walk off leaving it touching.

I was going to get front and rear dash cameras but heard they cannot be used in court anyway! I'm sure a solicitor will come along to advise

Well after having to check with Audi UK that the body shop was Audi approved (first one wasn't) my poor baby goes in tomorrow. :bye:

Just concerned about what job they make of it now, had a really bad experience when my wife's car was repaired a few years ago.

I'll just have to check it over thoroughly - spent a few :whistle2:hours detailing it at the weekend so they know I look after it and won't accept 'good enough'.:whip:

Well my luck is holding out - all of it BAD!!

Insurance engineer says that the quarter panel has had a previous 'bad' repair and they won't pay to fix it as the damage was already there.

My insurance say that if I can provide photos to show it wasn't damaged they can challenge - WTF? - who takes photos of every panel to show 'look no damage'?

Take a picture of someone else's quarter panel and send it to them, or is that not allowed, oops! :whistle2:
