Still not changed from status 38 since 8th Jan. 3 boats have come and gone to my location, its just annoying
 
From someone who has experienced the tracker recently with Audi & VW, the Audi tracker was always a few days to a week off. Always behind. The VW one, on the other hand, was much closer to reality! Normally within a day. The Audi contact centre can get full details (and much lore comprehensive info) if you ask them, though!

I've asked the live chat and all they do is give the stock response, up to 15 days blablabla

I've never tried that before tbh - I always just called up Audi Customer Services. They were more accurate than the dealership, lol.
 
Yea the live chat is rubbish they basically just look at the status then churn out a standard response apparently mine was released to boat on the first of June tracker still shows on train and arrived at port. No one seems to actually know where it is

Gone to status 70 overnight. I need to prep my GTD and arrange collection now.

On the tracker page mine is till showing as 'Order Received' but I got an email from my dealership saying the car was being built and I couldn't make any changes. On JSON is looks like it's changed to status 20 on the 14th, I presume that just means that the tracker is lagging behind and it is actually in build/prep?
 
its in prep^ not build yet. Should be in QC by the actual 'build date' on the tracker.

My car hasn't moved from 38 since the 8th, just getting ****** off now.
Seeing so many grimsby and tyne people having their car shipped, nothing going to sheerness for days now
 
I've had a week at 30 but not moved. Appears a much longer train journey in reality than the map shows......

We were hoping for the car by the 13th July but it's looking more & more unlikely. Ours is coming into Grimsby so fingers crossed....

Mine has gone to "70" this morning, rang the dealer and they say it should be with them toward the end of the week? Sales are out in Germany so I think a little stalling is taking place?
I can't complain really as if I had ordered my spec rather than take the dealer car it would be September, just teasing knowing the car is sat 5 miles away
 
Mine is saying on the boat now. Dealer wants to register this month can't see it happening.

Some progress finally. My dealer registered mine as soon as it went to status 40 even though it was waiting to be off-loaded.

It makes a mockery of those trying to get theirs registered before 31/3/17 to avoid the increase in road tax. The dealers were saying they couldn't register the car until it got the dealer sites.
 
audi upgrades
Just been informed by the lease company that my car has arrived at the supplying dealership!
 
Mine says car is now in U.K. Dilemma is I won't get it now until last week of July. Do I take it then or wait until sept 6th I'm away pretty much all of august

That's what I thought... Showing as currently status 20, having changed on the 14th. Still showing under 'order received' on the Your Audi tracker though!
 
Mine is showing on quality control for the last 3 days and not moved. Checked the backed end still shows status 24. I don't want mine till sept anyway just for new registration plate.
 
I'm now showing status 60 is that on the transporter? Dealer said won't be there till second week July too

It's almost at dealer collecting tomorrow happy days got great incentive to take now instead of sept. I'll get to enjoy it for 4 days before I go to work

Just checked JSON and found that our car has moved to Stage 38.............. Yeay its getting closer and closer..............

Ordered S4 2 weeks ago. Got email from Audi on a Tuesday , logged on, shows build start July 22 ! Is it normally that quick or BS ? His long before build start do I have to make final choice of colour,,,, and how long from build start to delivery ? thanks

Think it's locked when it hits prep so not long at all. It's prob an amended order to be so quick. Re you looked into the tracker it will show order date I ordered in march but it showed start Feb as was amended
 
My new S4 Avant arrived at the dealers 3 hours before I set off on a two and a half week holiday. Luckily there was enough to keep my mind elsewhere rather than thinking about the car sitting in the dealers compound.

Today I collect, pics later when I get it home!

Checked to see if it progressed from QC and still in QC. Not sure what happening there. Been there now 5 days.

Time is collection? I'm 5 but he's trying to get it ready early.
 
S4 Avant ordered 15th June but tracker showing build to start on 4th September, seems quite a wait?

Hopefully this will be brought forward as was hoping to have the car by end September!

Is this timeframe normal from order to build starting?
