New to forum with a few VAG toys

Hi all,
Just signed up to try and find some info on one of my cars. But to start out, I better say hello. So hi!

I have a few VAG cars, one of my daily drivers is a 2012 VW Amarok. I have an 04 RS6 in the shed as well for a project build. My wife has a Golf and the reason I signed up, is as I am building her an Audi A3.

I've always been a Ford guy, I have a two old Mustangs, but since buying my Amarok I have been bitten by the VAG bug.

Sure, here are some pics. First up is my Amarok. I love this car. I use it to tow my car trailer a lot and it truly is brilliant at doing it.

This is my damaged RS6. I can't believe what a car this is, it is amazing to drive. I haven't driven it far due to the front end but wow, just wow. I'm using it as a donor car.

This is the A3 I'm building for my wife. She had a '13 Tiguan which was a great car but we sold it only because of the lease agreement she had against it for work. She's now driving a MK4 Golf, she does a lot of km's for work and I got it cheap. The A3 should be a nice step up from the Golf once it is going.

This is my daily '66 Mustang. It's only a 200ci 6cyl with a 3 speed top loader but it's a beaut.

And this is my '69 428 Cobra Jet. Currently it's in a million pieces getting rebuilt due to the previous owner doing such a bad job at restoring it. It's new motor is stroked to 462ci running EFI, 6 speed manual trans and a whole lot of other goodies.

wow, those pics are fantastic. Cant wait to see what you do with the a3. I love the rs6, its a beast of a car, fantastic to drive :)
 
Welcome mate, what are you building with the RS6 as a donor car.

I'm planning to use the RS6 for a rat rod Ford F1 truck build. I've had the truck cab for a while and picked up the front end a few weeks ago. I managed to score the RS6 one day out of the blue. I can't re-register the RS6 here, it is only good for parts. Should make a great sleeper.
