Hi guys I have a 2010 A6 2.7 Le mans and recently when accelerating while in 'Drive mode' there is some hestitaion. This is more noticable when going from 4th to 5th gear.

This never happens when I drive in 'Sport mode'.

Should I be looking at getting it booked into Audi or it something to do with Manual throttle body adaption that I discovered when using Google?

Many thanks.

Is it FWD or Quattro?

does it have any fault codes?

is it temp / fuel type dependent?

What's the milage on your car? Have your fuel injectors checked. At some point they will start leaking fuel so they have to be refurbished or replaced. This depends on how badly worn out or damaged they are.

Could be lots of things including simple things but as you suggest it is gear related I would check whether the gearbox oil needs a service. Lots of similar minor niggles are often sorted by an automatic gearbox oil change

Audi told me the oil is longlife and does not need replacing.
Audi says lots of things and some of them are complete bs. For them a car with 150k has reached the end of its life.
