It's the 225/40 stuff on the tyre walls I'm looking for.
Curious if the tyres on it now are the same rating as the originals.

The original tyres on mine are 225/40 18 92Y

I have 235/35/19 91Y Conti Sport Contact 5's

92 load index (the weight tyre can carry. Y = speed rating

Thanks.
The car will probably go back to the finance company soon and I believe they stipulate the tyres must be of a similar setup to those that came on it.
The tyres currently on it are 225/40 18 92Y which appear to match the original ones.

I doubt they would be that picky?! Sure the same wheels, as long as it has healthy tyres I don't think they can complain or would for that matter. Why don't you PX it and not hand it back? You will be in equity and will make money!

When I placed the order for the S5, the S3 was running a bit of negative equity. However, looking at the figures now, there is not that much of a difference. So I will be asking the dealer to look into PX also.
The BVRLA guidelines that Audi Finance follow do mention about having the same tyres (I assume ratings etc) as what it came out of the factory on.
I wasn't sure if the 92Y bit that is on my tyres was different to the originals.

That negative equity has likely cancelled out now, definitely worth looking at the PX route. I've had a few dealers tell me the finance companies know they will never get these cars because they are worth so much more sold on. They are laughing if you hand them back, the future value price is rock bottom of what they think that car could be worth.

I doubt they would have to be exact, as long as the size is the same and the life is good it would be fine.

Cheers. Certainly the remaining and the alleged value are very close.
However I need to get a couple of wheels refurbished and potentially a couple of other things done so there may be some negotiation done.
