Buying a new key fob

Hi, we have 2011 a4 avant black edition, but we can't find our spare key fob anywhere, I know you can buy new fobs off eBay, but would these work and how would you program them to your car ?

I looked into this in depth a while back. Your not get audi to program it. I ended up going to then for a new one. I did get a key blank off eBay for £10 and got it cut for £6 audi wanted £60 plus vat just for that

Plenty of cut cutters can clone your other key to program your new one. No need for dealer if you have at least 1 key

These cannot be cloned. I supply them programmed and cut for £140. I'm based in hull. 10% discounted when you mention ASN on ordering.

Thanks for the replies, it's not a key as such, but a fob you push into a slot in the dashboard. Like this....

Those are the keys they are talking about

Press the little silver button the back of the fob & it has a key inside (for glove box,door,passenger airbag )

So, some conflicting replies, can I buy a new key , say from eBay ( like the one in the link above ), then get an auto locksmith to program? Anyone actually done this ?

No i Would refuse to use a key u supply. I supply and program my own sourced keys as I said in previous post. I can garentee the keys I supply. Cannot garentee ebay keys.

Yes plenty of conflicting info, just believe my answer as it's my day job
