Tuning Box for the 2.0tfsi 190ps...

I contacted DTUK to see if my tuning box from them that I purchased in the summer for my A3 could be flashed with the firmware, however they are saying it'll need a different box :-( I will give them a ring next week to see what they say.

the 1.2 and 1.4 VAG engines use a slightly different module than the other TFSI engines. The downside is that it isnt suitable for the 2.0 TFSI, but it can be used on the TDI's where as the other petrol box wont cover diesels..

I don't know what to say about this DTUK because at my first look they post some wrong infos. I searched for my model (V6 TDI 218Q) and they say the standard torque is 500NM which is quite wrong. Audi claims the torque on the 218Q is 400 NM

Sent the info to Abyss in a pm, as he works for DTUK, I am sure he's be happy to correct it.

I will be picking one of these up in three weeks when I get the motor delivered! Will post back opinions :) have to say DTUK have impressive customer service!

Hi,

I'm interested in getting one of these after my first services. How easy is this to fit? Are there any connections that take more than a few minutes? I watched a YouTube video of a Golf and you had to jack the car up and removed the protection covers.

Cheers.

It depends on where the three sensors are located. I fitted one to my 1.4 A3, they were all accessible from under the bonnet so all you had to do was remove the top cover and some of the air intake. A bit fiddly but once I was used to the procedure I could remove it in about 10 mins.
The golf has a tranverse eng
