When will MY18 be available for order?
Any indications of changes for S4?

I believe it is week 22 for all Audi's, can't help you with the changes although the rumours are the A3 will get folding mirrors as standard, so might happen to the A4..

If my counting is correct that puts it as the last week in May? That means my S4 May be a MY18 build with any luck! Here's hoping, and if I get any feedback on things like the folding mirrors or whatever I'll definitely post them.

So mine could be ny18 I just added folding mirrors and camera wonder if I should have left them off. When do we find out for sure any changes?

I would suggest any recent orders will defo be MY18. As said above the change occurs at build week 22, usually orders in the system not built by week 20 or so will be converted to MY18. Sometimes you gain, sometimes you loose. I can't see there been many big changes on the A4/S4.
In my experience, dealers will be notified next week (end of April) you need to get them to send you a copy of the 'desktop article' memo they will receive...something like AU0....-18 model year 2018 changes.
I'm sure a copy will filter out on to the web next week.

Cool that's true I won on my rs3 I never specced any nav and got it and something else for free as the update happened before my build I also ducked the price increase. It did take 9months to come tho. We actually had the baby arrive a week before the Rs lol

My estimated delivery is middle June salesman thinks but said could be end July still waiting confirmation from factory that they accept the order.

Looking like mine will be a MY18 as well then. Not needing car until Sept so resisted getting order number so I wouldn't be on Your Audi tracking it all the time.....but gave in yesterday after reading this thread! Despite ordering at end of Feb build date is not until 19 June - 4 months seems a long time from order to build but not an issue to me, assuming it's ready by Sept. Anyone know how long from build to landing in dealers?

I'm in the same boat as you such that I'm looking for a build slot that puts me in for a September delivery. It's a long time to wait though!

It sure is! I wanted peace of mind that I'd get it before my lease ran out on current car and my dealer said he would quote 4-6 months on a S4 anyway so seemed the right time to order to make sure I got it. It's only been 2 months and I'm driving my wife mad with constantly looking on here, video's on You Tube etc etc! No idea how I'm going to be for the next 4 months!!

Yeah, they told me I needed to order now to get a September delivery because apparently a couple of the things I've put on my spec are long lead at the moment. Not sure if that's just the dealer trying to get an extra order on the books before the end of the month or not though.

They said they'd keep it for me until the 1st September if it came in early though so I'm happy enough.

My car is now in the UK, but no word on when the dealers will get it. I ordered on 7th Jan so about 17/18 weeks wait.

That seems a very long lead time if true. Last year I ordered my A4 on 29 June (with a load of options) and it was still delivered in time for a pick up on 3rd September.

I've always been quoted 6 months for my Audis so it came as no surprise.

They did mention the S4 alloys, black pack items and the sports diff as being long lead items. A couple different dealers seemed to mirror that so I don't know if there are vendor issues for certain parts or something.

My A4 allroad is currently sheduled for week 22 but the JSON on the tracker shows it as MY17. Whilst the build date has previously been 23,24,and 25 it has always shown MY17. It's probably wrong as I know VW also change their MY on the last week in May. Will be interested to see if there are any changes....

The coast 2 coast online builder has been updated, there's now a standalone black edition and s tronic gearbox for the 1.4tfsi plus the engine has been added to s line and the new black edition models

So it has. That's interesting as I'm sure that would save me a decent amount over my current spec.

Any news from anyone? I'm very impatient. Don't know how I'm going to manage to wait until September for my car! Lol.

Spoke to my dealer today, looks like they gave received the desktop arcticlr gor MY18, although he hadn't even opened or read it yet!
He was reluctant to send me a copy, so just read through the headlines for the S4
(Disclaimer, unconfirmed so don't get blaming me)
As standard:-
Flat bottom steering wheel
Audi Beam (bottom of door tat - woohoo)
19" wheels, 10 spoke design

He also mention connect assist button, but I have no clue what that is, or even if this is a UK thing.

Edit: looks like this is Audi connect safety & service button, like the A5!
Would be nice to have as you can use the app to check locks etc.

I'm at the dealers on Saturday so will try and get a screen grab.

Lots of likes for your post good man! Very interesting to hear. I'll definitely be asking on Saturday when I'm in signing some documents if you haven't heard anything else by then.

Is that the S4 only 19" or the previous RS style ones do you know? Could mean a little savings on my spec just with these bits. :)

10 spoke are the first option 19 inches I'd guess that are 275 quid option.

Wonder if it will affect the other 2 19" options prices. Iv ordered the flat bottom wheel.
Did he mention any price change?

He did say there was a price increase to cover, but didn’t go into detail.
If you’ve got your order confirmed, you should be price protected, as was the case with my order in January when there was a 2% increase

I've got the flat bottom wheel but the S4 alloys rather than the 10 spoke so the savings wouldn't be huge anyway. I'm signing papers on Saturday so hopefully they won't try to sneak the price hike in then.

The Audi connect safety & service looks interesting, wouldn’t have minded that - but I’m sure it’s just software and could be retrofitted

Yeah I'm liking the look of that. If it's lets you pre-heat the car and turn on the heated seats then I know the Mrs. will forgive me for spending so much on the car... Haha

As far as I understood it a sos module is possibly required as I am sure that a way to reprogram the my17's would have been found by now. It would be more interesting to find out what comes standard on the my18 models below the s4 too...

SE - gets connect safety and service
Sport now have heated seats, 7inch colour drivers information screen, sport twin leather seats and the connect safety and service,
S Line is the same except alcantara instead of leather,
there is a new black edition trim line that is essentially the extended black pack with different wheels, flat bottom steering wheel and piano black insert plus specific grey paint option

Is that all confirmed? And any idea if the black edition will be available for the S4 as well?

Thanks Soot1e, appreciate it! I'll have to keep an eye on the configurator then.

Any word on another TFSI engine being introduced to the A4 line up then, or just retain the 252PS?

Audi customer services just said my car has moved to build week 19 so would miss the my18 upgrades hmm

There's a very good chance it will move back you could always gamble by delaying or changing or adding to the order, but that might delay it significantly.

It's only just went in the order too. Audi U.K. Also say I can't track it until may now?
Trying to gauge if it's worth it
Iv already spec flat bottom wheel and the v spoke 19s so it's only the connect services thing really and door lights.
I read about the services but didn't mean much to me.
Are the door beams just led when you open door surely extended led has this already?
