B&O Sound Only Down 1 Side

As in the title I have a5 and the B&O sound is only coming out of the passenger side. The fader works ok, although the sound isnt great from the back. How ever if move the balance from one side to another it has no effect. If I move it to the drivers side I still get 'full' sound from the passenger side.
Anyone got any ideas please?

Ive got the answer from a B&O specialist.
For anyone else wanting to know the answer to this.
This system is in component protection mode and needs to code to the car. VCDS can not do it
