Reversing sensors

Apologies if in wrong topic

I have a 2004 Audi A3 2.0 Tdi dsg - my reversing sensors don't work. When I put it into reverse I hear a beep for about 1-2 seconds then nothing - what could be the problem?? Please bare in mind I don't have a mechanical mind so I don't know any mechanical words so please keep it simple if possible

More than likely a sensor or 2 are out, needs checking realistically diagnostically, whereabouts are you located?

You can check which parking sensors are out without VCDS. Put the ignition on and put the car in reverse, put your ear next to each sensor and the ones that are working should have a clicking noise while the ones that don't work aren't gonna be clicking.
