No black pack :(

So Last week I got sent a email saying I can track my order etc, bit late as it's due next week.

When I went on the tracker etc I noticed there was no black pack, so on Friday I emailed lease company to tell them and they just got back to me today confirming it's not got it.

There now telling me that they are working on a solution to get it on and still delivered in time.

Is this something that can be dealer fit ?

I'm guessing but is it only grill, mirror caps and window trims ?

I personally can't see them getting this done at dealers and if they fob me off with they will wrap it I don't want to be paying the full black pack price.

Annoyed by this cause the only reason I went for it was because will look good with the white. If the car was black or any other dark colour I wouldn't be bothered.

That's pretty disappointing... If it was me buying on something like PCP versus a lease I think that I'd be asking for a retrofit and if they weren't happy doing that I'd be asking for a new vehicle to be ordered for me correctly I'd say. And expect to use the incorrect car in the meantime as it was their mistake.

I don't know how it would work with a lease and if you could demand that kind of thing?

I know what your saying. I'm guessing again but it shouldn't matter if it's a lease or not it's all done by Audi finance but from a broker. I guess it all depends on who messed up if the broker has not ordered it correctly then I'm guessing will be there responsibility. But before this happened I made it clear that I needed the car before or on the 7th so I've just emailed back to say if it holds up delivery can it not be dealer fit at my local Audi

That's rubbish. A friend of mine had this issue with a S5 B8.5. Ordered the black and had emails stating this to the dealer. He went to pick up and no black. They failed to order it. He had a replacement car ordered and used the car without black until it was delivered. Got 2 free services out of it too.
I hope you can get sorted.

I'd settle for that. But looking at it I think it was lease brokers fault so will see what happens. As it's just a lease vehicle I would accept it to be professionally sprayed as I only have it for 2years but I wouldn't want to pay for the full price of the black pack.

The fact that nobody is replying to my emails about it is what's annoying me now.

Update!

After waiting 2days and no response I rang them back and been told I can either have the car as is with the cost of the black pack refunded. Or they can order a new car but won't be here till June

I've said I don't want to do either of that because my baby will arrive by then and that's the whole reason I've changed cars.

Then was told the grill and the mirrors shouldn't be problem to change but the issue is that they can't do the window surrounds. So I've now waiting to hear if they will change grill and mirrors and refund me the cost of what it will be to have the window surrounds sprayed or wrapped.

Calling all s4 black pack owners am I missing anything that should be on there or is it literally grill mirrors and window surrounds ?

They have refunded me it because they have said they can change the grill and mirrors only but will take up to 4weeks to get parts and fitted. Didn't fancy parts black and parts not so I've accepted it as is. Plus need it for next as have appointments booked in.

Thinking about getting it done myself now what does everyone think is the best way forward ? Paint or wrap? And what's this plastic dip stuff not doing it myself so if anyone can recommend anyone local to hull area

That's a shame Nath - at least you've got your cash back which is good.

The windows will be the trickiest but I would try a wrap rather than plastids which looks OK from a distance!

I've no experience of this company but maybe give them a call to see if they could do it and give you a price?

I'll wait till the car arrives then pop and see a few people get a couple of quotes. Maybe when it arrives I won't mind it. But if I can get it done for the cost of the £550 I'm getting back ill get it done. If not then I'll lump it for the 2years I have it. Hopefully the power and noise from the drivers seat will take my mind off it haha

Yer I asked who had messed up and broker told me that it's been a mix up in communication between them and the dealer but all the order forms are correct. I wonder if a email to Audi uk would be an idea even tho I went via a broker it's all still done via Audi finance.

I wrapped my chrome on the S7 - Black Optics wasn't a UK option when I purchased. Really can't tell unless your very close up.

The S7 was £150. Yours should be less given the size. Material is cheap, its the labour cost mainly, especially if the guy is any good.
