I originally set out to buy a b7 rs4 however my budget stretched to a rs6 and one came along that I could not refuse ( it had the coolant pipes done and oil seals done with a invoice of 4.5k ) I ran the car for 9 months and put 10k miles on it. I advertised it to gauge interest and sombody came and bought it 2 days later. It's a great car but just to costly to run everyday and the maintenance due in the future was always on my mind. It's not a car you keep for years unless you have other cars to play with and deep pockets It's a special car just not special enough to only drive at the weekends so the s4 is a great replacement it's actually a mini me version of a red rs6 I originally bought before the black one but the sale fell through see pic
Thanks mate the s4 is a lovely car and the sound of the gear change in dynamic and sport is better than the fart on the rs6Great looking S4, but that RS6 didn't look bad either. Long way from my S3...

Yeah me too. My B7 had a Shark remap and I was very happy with it.
I'm in Scotland and a friend has the owner of sharks old car with the map and pully and filter and he is very happy with it he actually maps cars with shark files now so saves the journey to mrc. He did a good job of keeping up with me in the rs6
@discostu49 - Hi &So just sold my rs6 and bought a s4 with panoramic roof and black pack. Absolutely love the s4 maybe more than the rs6 but it's early days will be looking to extract some more horses from it as the rs6 was about 600bhp. Pics old and new
