Forge Motorsport Dump valve for the 1.2&1.4?

...part of me does like them...i know i know....from my Evo days

Would assume it would get alot of Chav comments, may not find anyone who did fit one :)

I'd get a DV+ and intake, still make noises but be more discreet!

Maybe @batch can confirm: A dv is used to release the boost pressure when the throttle body closes? It also assists in lag but may not be the case for a small turbo?

I think the intake speaks for itself....
 
Intake will lower temps, potential for small increases in power and torque and improve response.
DV reduces the effect of turbo stall and other issues associated with spent boost remaining in the system (basically) I think?!

They sound crap on the smaller engines, because there is no decent engine noise in the first place .... so all you end up with is quite turbo whoosh and then "psshhh" ......


More like pishshh offf! :)
 
save the cash and buy a intake kit or panel filter (dry foam type) this will benefit a turbo charged engine much better than a dv/blow off valve .
