I m worried it wont melt the wire, its very close to turbo/downpipe. Should cober with heatproof pipe?Has anyone got any advice on feeding the OBD cable through? The guide makes it sound easy but looking in the car it exits right by the turbo
I was thinking the same, I'll see what I think tomorrow when I fit mineI m worried it wont melt the wire, its very close to turbo/downpipe. Should cober with heatproof pipe?

Its easy to remove, can be fit later againMine just turned up yesterday... Can anyone tell me if the wire you have to tap in to with the positap can be removed and then refitted several times? For trips to the dealers etc.. as if not this no longer becomes a plug & play unit
Red wire on the grey plugQuick question regarding the afr wire .. which plug am I tapping in to? As on the instructions it says the grey wire but my plugs seem to be opposite colours to the picture in the install guide
Thanks that's what it also says on mine but this picture on the guide threw me offThis is the guide I followed "To connect the wire you’ll be using the included POSI-TAP to attach to the red wire on the gray lambda sensor plug on the firewall"
I did double check but it seems to be working fine and hasn't defaulted to map 4 so all looks good. The jb4 app works over otg as well so that's saved me £130 on the Bluetooth kitThanks that's what it also says on mine but this picture on the guide threw me off
Unless it's as we're right hand drive?I've watched 2 videos now and all are tapping in to the bottom of the two plugs .. weird
I've emailed him anyway as I have some questions about changing my settings and I'll hold off until I get a response & report backUnless it's as we're right hand drive?
Other option is email George, he's always helpful and quick to reply. Let me know if you do

You seen this?I'm being really thick here...I've followed a few links from this thread and I'm being mega, mega thick but I don't understand this. Does anyone have a link that will enlighten me to what the jb4 is, how much is it and how do you map it.
I've got the idea it plugs in but how does it differ from a jb2, how does it get mapped or is it a case of selecting from a set parameter map and how much is it?
Many thanks...
You seen this?

No worries, I'll set up a thread for it soon I think, lots of settings and questions so it makes senseNo...but that's exactly what I was looking for...many thanks
Got an email back... and he says it is the top one on the no1 red wire ... but did agree that it's unclear and on some cars it's the bottom one so he will be re writing his installation manualOk sounds good.
I'm using map 2 but there is too much power in first gear so I'm dropping 1st gear boost to 4psi extra and trying that and working down from there until I find the sweet spot
