my jb4 upgrade has turned up this morning and i will be fitting it later today! anyone else got one yet and fitted it?
 
I'm waiting for my kit. Should be after xmas
 
mine is on, feels faster and alot smoother :)

only miltek cat back and cts turbo inlet elbow. getting the intergrated engineering intake fitted on thursday before the rolling road

Sweet!
Smoother and more powerful, especially in the upper rev range seems to be the concensus for those test reports that I have read so far.

Which map are you using? 2?
Any plans on map6 tweaking?
Gonna put in some E85 as well?

Was early ordering the upgrade but still haven't gotten it. Deliveries from abroad are terribly slow here... :(

yes im on map 2 at the moment, i done a little bit of logging with it and sent the data to george to have a look at and hes gonna get back to me and let me know if thers anything i can tweak. im not clever enough to start playing with it by myself haha no e85 just vpower. i was lucky mine was at my local parcel force depot on christmas eve. had to pay £21 taxes for it.

Generous 'George support' is included in price so absolutely the best to utilize it. :)

IF you take logs with JB4 app (boost,timing,etc), those would be interesting to see as well. Have mainly seen GTI logs so far so would be really interesting with some S3/R logs...

I just meant it would be interesting to see the logs. :)

(No matter if running on Windows or Android/Ios, the same parameters can be logged.)

Are all the connections on top of the engine with JB1/4? What sort of figures do you think you are getting?

Plug D is at the bottom and is considered to be the worst.
If reading some guide and doing it the right way, it's actually rather easy though.
This plug is needed with both Jb1 and Jb4.

The other plugs are easy to handle and can be accessed from the top.

Jb4 has two more plugs than Jb1.

And what's your feelings on this map2?
Could you tell me what boost you used with jb1?
I got only r600 intake and using on jb1 map1 with 5.2 psi fuel v power racing

I ordered direct from burger because jb4 shop and Performace Centre didn't want to sale me this kit. They say me it's only for U.K. Customers LOL
BTW my kit is on the way to me (Poland) but I have no idea why my jb4 travels to me from LA to Poland through Istanbul ROFL
I will try map 2 and make few logs and than sand to George and see what we can improve in map 6

Mines just arrived :) can't wait to get some extra power and reduce the boost in 1st gear so launch control doesn't freak out in the wet

My MTM Cantronic, with CTS inlet pipe and VWR Intake with Forge hose, makes 375hp and 465Nm torque. So these boxes really are hitting the good notes!

Mine arrived yesterday went out on Map 2 before here's my log, only a tiny amount of ignition pull really low down, this is 4th gear.
A nice starting point for Map 6.

Tbf the support from burger is excellent and now the jb4 is out why anyone would touch anything other than the mtm or this I'll never know.

The 3 lead boxes like DTUK are so bad I can't believe more people haven't had issues with them

It's good for a box but never going to touch an apr map and dsg tune, there's been a revision out recently so makes a bit more again ud be looking at around 380 bhp and 410lb of tourqe with ur mods, No way am I dissing the jb4 though it's gr8 for a plug and play

I'm just saying it's good for a box. Remaps should always be better power and delivery wise
