Hi good folks, Im about to go crazy with Salisbury Audi. Well to start off Ive had a problem with my A4 b8 offside rear door as it has an intermitent problem. Sometimes opens when it wants too or does not even lock at times with the key fob. Took it in to Salisbury Audi to repair the fault, first of all they said it was the door control module which I personally had bought a brand new part from TPS and changed which they claimed was faulty and replaced. The car came back worked a few hours and door was back to playing up.
Sent it back in said they could not find the fault but its 100% working with no fault codes. At this point I was furious and had parted with my £400 I had to travel overseas and left the car parked came back weeks later put my kids in to go shopping only to get to the shop to have my kids locked in the back of the car in a big car seat. Had to pull out the other seat to get to her. So rang Salisbury audi straight away told them my car is still playing up and i demand i spoke to the manager was tossed from pillar to post at this point. Eventually got the car booked in and they came for it to be fixed few days later I get a call from them saying it was a misdiagnosis that it was just a cable fault so they wont charge me a penny. Car came back door did not play up. Parked the car and have been away overseas came back recently and the car was due a service etc which I carried out recently and back to the door again its not opening same fault. Rang Salisbury Audi this morning the lady i spoke to had the balls to say to me we can get your car in but theres gonna be a £60 diagnostic fee to pay. Can you ****** imagine. Im so furious dont even want my car to go in there again after parting away wih my £400 got told it was misdiagnosis now want more money off me. Will be grateful to have your opinion on this issue as I dont even know what next to do with these THIEVES!

Contact the service manager and explain you are not happy and want it fixed properly after all you have paid a lot to get it fixed
Also contact the garage owner or senior manager .if you dont get satisfaction get onto Audi and create a complaint .
If you had the door module and they said it was faulty surely it should be replaced by TPS and you should nt have had to pay for it , unless you had had it for ages .

I have threatened to take this issue further if I am not re reimbursed. I don't even believe that sweet talk of them saying they have one of the very best qualified so called ''SUPER TECHNICIANS'' who know what they are doing. They clearly doing a try and error with my car and its not working. well about the control module from TPS I got they tried telling me it had gone faulty after like 6-7 months which I found ridiculously weird but I took their word for it.

i'd speak to Audi central customer services, they've always sorted things for me when the dealer has fallen short (they basically tell the dealer to sort it)

I have literally just got off the phone with them they have requested I go into an Audi Dealership and update my VMS and should expect a call from one of their UK customer relations manger within 48hrs. I'd wait and see where this goes.

Cheers!

i had an issue where on a service my brakes were marked as 60% worn on inspection, and the pads wore out a week later... a quick call to Audi HO and my brakes were all replaced FOC the following week - poor customer service, but rectified properly, which is why i've stuck with Audi
