The dis use to display track info on the original hi. I have a full vcds but I think I'm getting the wrong code. Anyone retro fitters got any tips or close to Manchester . You don't need AMI. so to recap, you have the rns-e working, but the Bluetooth module isn't, and the dis now no longer shows track info?

Yeah that's right I tried coding it using vcds but nothing I've scanned it in 77 telephone it gives me the part number of the module and 3 fault codes 00532,01523 and 01305

I've done the adaptations in module 56 I get code 0519711 (car has Bose and factory cd changer in boot both working) using that but not the nav as I didn't think I had to as it was working would the fact that I have to code my car as a a6 and the bt module is from a a4 matter?

Should it not be 051913 at least, the 3 being the CD changer?

Also, why code it as a A6, will it not work if coded as a newer a3?

The module I believe is the same for all, she part number for A6 a5 a4 and a3 I think.

Yeah sorry that's what I meant . I've just coded it as a6 before 2004 as that what others who have done the retro fit have done.

Ok, im not sure. I have an a4 myself with rns-e and know that coding needs to match for navigation and radio.

Other than that, I'm not sure. Maybe ask others who have done it why the dis is not showing the track or radio name. Unless A6 won't have the track or radio in dis and that is the problem? Again, I'm not sure, sorry.

Cheers I will matching the codes in nav an telephone does the dis have a fuse do you know?

The codes were matching in radio and nav but the Bluetooth has a different coding, coded that to suit and still doesn't work I've scanned the Bluetooth/telephone module (77) and it says no fault codes . Anyone any ideas or recommend a retrofitter in Manchester area?
