Oops! Found the thread through a search engine, and didn't realise it was specifically S3 A3 part of the forum.

Update on my delivery chaps (A6 Black Ed) But should give an idea of delivery time.

Car arrived in the Uk on saturday morning on african highway (Grimsby - 11:30am). The car was confirmed in the compound yesterday, will be delivered to my dealer today and will be collected on saturday at 3:00pm!

Again I know this is an a6, but my overall delievery time from signing to picking up is just less than seven weeks!! Amazing.

Still on a status 30 since the 11th. Really must be a slow train or it's not updating!
 
I'm hoping mate that status 30 also means at port waiting to be loaded.
Could be wrong though.
Unless southern railways are also running the Audi to port run ha ha.

I'm also hoping that most of the cars been held at port are being held there until 17plate comes out.So start to come over February.And people who don't mind a 66 plate jumps the que for the boat over.
 
Haha don't that will give me nightmares! And a status 38 is at the port awaiting transport to the uk and a status 40 being in the uk... I'm hoping the tracker is delayed!
 
I'm not worried about the reg to be honest that doesn't phase me in the slightest! I just want my car now!!!

Mate I think we got more chance of goin fishing with elvis for the lochness monster than getting our cars before Xmas.Saying that I'm sure I saw him in tescos this morning looking at the peanut butter lol.

Haha I very much doubt getting it before New Years but if the car gets on a ship this week in all fairness there's a chance!

Yes mate that's true.
Just got conformation email from Audi saying its left factory for port.
As u say Billy will be happy for her to be in uk before next Friday.

I think it will definitely be in the UK before the new year but wether it's on our driveways or not is a different story! And have you gone through a lease company or direct through Audi? I've gone through a leasing company and have little correspondence with Audi or the lease firm regarding updates. But ours are following the same build date and status thereabouts so your my only source of info at the moment haha

Audi customer services are good.
If your never sure where ur car is phone them mate.
Gona phone them again Monday for a check up on her.
Will keep u informed as well mate.
Audi main dealers I'm dealing with.
There not keeping in contact with me mate either mate.

Yeah i phoned Audi customer services Monday or Tuesday and they confirmed that what I already know which is good. Fingers crossed we get the cars in the UK next week then we can organise deliveries! And what dealership did you go through bud and what port is the car likely to be going into?
 
Mine shipped last friday, arrived last saturday and will be picked up this saturday.

Soooo those of you waiting if its on a ship today / tomorrow you may get it on xmas eve at a push?

Just spoke to Slough Audi, they said mine is currently shipping over to the uk even though my youraudi status is still at 38. Only ship I can see heading here is Neckar Highway which is due into Grimsby tomorrow.

I asked if she thinks i could get it this side of New Year and she said it unlikely which is consistent with the lease company advising an early to mid January delivery.

I'm going to have to accept that now and if I somehow get it earlier it's a bonus.

Same - just spoke to a guy on audi customer service on live chat and he confirmed mine is on Necker Highway

Yours has been the same as mine all the way through so reckon it's on the same boat

My dealer said it'll be with me this year so still some hope that you'll get yours

Which lease company did you use? Mine is with UVL.

Had confirmation that it was built last week, and awaiting shipment to UK on Monday. Hoping for a call soon! Would be great to get it before Christmas.

Some of the dealers, if they know you're using yourAudi and/or tracking the build yourself, won't email or call you as frequqently to avoid bombarding you. I found the build status system to be more accurate than yourAudi and in turn I knew more than the dealer did.

African highway just left emden bound for Grimsby, my car left the factory on the 11th what's the odds of it being on the ship :whistle2:
