Same mate in QC! But the order status on first line is '30' maybe it's left maybe it hasn't lol but it's making good progress!
 
Sounds confusing mate lol.
Phone audi customer services up and find out.They might be able to give you a rough time frame as well mate.
 
Still at status 39 this morning as expected, although I'm certain it's off the boat and in Grimsby. Let's hope they get them checked in today.

Morning guys, still status 39 for me, boat has been in sheerness since yesterday evening, so I expect I am unloaded or being unloaded today, so will be a couple of days I guess until it goes to status 40

Keep an eye on the schedules for African highway and gran canaria car mate. African highway will be due in today I think, so see where that is off to once it is loaded! Fingers crossed sounds like you should be on the next boat
 
Sooo... Out of the blue, Audi called. Confirming the car is in the uk at the port (grimsby). It is yet to be checked into the compound, which doesnt happen over the weekend. However, he's hopefull that will happen today, with pick up being arranged for the weekend! He has already raised an order to have the car transported to Lincoln.

Result!

Gran Canaria car has left Sheerness, so my car must have been unloaded! Definitely need to get on to the dealer now and see what's occurring.
 
Spoke to dealer, my car is unloaded and just needs to be move to compound.

He said collection orders are raised automatically, but they do not arrange the collections, he said 7 to 10 days it should be with them, so worst case that's 22nd December.....I am available for a xmas eve pick up if they are!!!! fingers crossed.

Good to hear it mate!

My dealer seemed adament that he could confirm a delivery date as soon as it hits the compound. he even went as far to say he's not in on Saturday so it would have to be someone else's handing the car over. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Saturday would be awesome bud!! I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Mine came in a day or so after yours, so will have to wait and see when they get the car, hope they do not mess me around and get it done quick once they receive it!

Hope you get it before Christmas Pederson. Mine arrived in Kings Lynn about 10 days ago and I've got another 11 days until I collect. Roll-on Friday week at about 4pm. It's going to be quite some Christmas present.

I hope so too buddy, between Xmas and new year would be fine too if I'm honest but would be handy to have it for Xmas day, will save us walking to the pub for Xmas lunch! Lol

Been looking at insurance and it only costing me an extra £3 pm but excess up to £400.

My insurance should be about the same as my last car, but as I'm changing mid-year I fear my current insurer will sting me for all they can. Their cancellation fee is about £50 which sets the bar pretty high for making it worthwhile changing to a different insurer.

Mine is gonna cost about 250 a year more than my heavily modified mk1 focus rs did!! Deep joy! Lol but car is worth 3x the amount in fairness!

nice @foofoo and that's similar to mine, the status changed to 30 yesterday so hopefully a status 38 tomorrow! looking good! now to start tracking the ships, I need the next one to leave for grimsby

How weird is my status history, shows QC on the 12th but leaving the factory on the 11th... if it did actually leave on the 11th it could be due in port tomorrow!

Does sound weird mate.
Check with customer services.
They should tell u.
Might phone them up myself to see how mines goin and if it matches up with your Audi tracker.

I'm hoping to be on a ship sometime this week bud... if so I've actually got half a chance of it being here this year!
 
Hey guys,just spoke to customer services.My car is indeed in quality control(tracker bang on).
But my car might not make it out of factory before Xmas break.
Have to phone them back next Monday to find out where she is.
50%chance she escapes from the factory before(no pun on the great escape film lol).
 
yeah I might give them a call in a couple of hours time - mines out the factory according to the tracker but if she gets on a ship and in the UK is pot luck by the sounds of it!

You should get on a ship at the weekend Billy, maybe next Monday I reckon, depending on what ships are going where.
 
Gran Canaria Car has just arrived back to Emden, usually that ship goes to sheerness, but may change to go up to Grimsby like African highway did.

Speaking of African highway, that came back into Emden yesterday, so doubtful you will get on to that one unfortunately.

However Neckar highway is not far off docking at Grimsby, ETA is 14:15 today, so once that is unloaded and gone back to Emden you might get on that if it is going back to Grimsby. If you do, that will arrive back I reckon Saturday or Sunday

gents, is there a way of seeing the schedule for the ships - like a 5 day forecast to see where they are meant to be leaving and docking? I cant seem to see this info on vesselfinder and/or marine tracker. it just shows the last 5 places its docked and its current journey.

thanks In advance.
 
I just look at the ports and schedule arrivals and departures
