Hi all, it's been a whilst since I've been on Audi sport, usually happens when I need some help... here goes

Got my s3 stage 2 mapped by Brotek in Lanark (Mark's a top guy btw) - Shark Map, and the clutch gave up after a run to Crail drag strip and a few launches off the line.
I've had fitted a Sachs performance clutch and new flywheel and got the car back last week. Felt great initially if a bit stiff on the clutch pedal. Problem is, that now it's started to bed in, it doesn't feel like its disengaging fully and I get a small but quite annoying judder when changing gear. Anyone had this and know what needs done to fix it?

Also, anyone know if the pedal will soften up or do I need some more leg work in the gym??

Thanks

They judder quite a bit for a while, mine was until over 1000 miles that most of it had gone but it's still there at times after around 7k of use.

And no, the pedal stays like that forever unfortunately

Thanks man,

I know about the judder when getting the biting point which is fine actually, it's more when depressing the pedal and disengaging the clutch rather than re-engaging the clutch ... if that makes sense...?

I've had mine "drag" out of gear when disengaging the clutch for a while, usually at lower revs. Adjusted driving style, probably should get it looked at hah.

What release bearing did you use? Who fitted it?
I had my full Sachs kit including Sachs release bearing fitted 2 weeks ago and had no issues at all, no judder and it's smooth just a little stiffer, feels like a short shifter for the clutch if you know what I mean. Clutch is stiffer but has shorter area where it bites and then just grips.
I got used to mine after 2 days and now feeling more normal only had it for 500 miles.

Did you have the clutch fluid, transfer box and gearbox fluid all renewed at the same time?

Had my usual garage fit the clutch, he's worked on my all of my previous cars and has a good rep. Not sure about release bearing, I'll check.
Don't think the fluids were changed but I will check and get them changed.

Best practice when it's all out anyway easy to do it in one go and then you know it's all new.
