Oh. Well. You've ruffled feathers here now haha. From what I've read, it's front seats. Can anybody put a definite on this please? My girlfriend will kill me haha.
 
Probably been asked before but how long after the dealer has placed the order with Audi can they provide me with an order number I can track?

Pestered the dealer to get my order number and it's not showing up in MyAudi yet. Seen the screengrab from the dealer so not worried and should start working in the next few days. Still a waiting game though!

Got my email this afternoon currently stage 2.

Estimated to begin construction 30th January which is fine with me as I want to wait for the 1st March anyway.

Hi All

I will hopefully be joining the club in Feb/Mar with a w/c 16 January build date. I didn't really need to change cars until May but thought I would get in before the change in VED in April..........but having ordered it I'm now really impatient and want it now (cue a toys out of pram style tantrum).
 
Does anyone know what it means when your car has a VIN? I've got 2 orders going through (because dealer left an option off!) the first one has been at quality control for 2 weeks tomorrow and no VIN. The second went straight from panel shop to quality control last a couple days ago and already has a VIN (also the dates for order status change are in the future!)

Of course it can only be a good thing but just wondered if anyone knew anything more. Like does the VIN only show when it leaves factory etc.

Also if I load the VIN into apps, am I going to ****** the process up for doing it too early lol?
 
The info might have been dealed before with in the previous 22 pages, but....do any of you gentlemen know if this tracking can be done also for cars not sold in the UK ( specifically Italy )..?

Is it only these 5 ships? None seem to be bound for Sheerness (going to Slough) and mine has left factory now.....

Actually, African Highway at Emden is heading to Sheerness next (just updated this evening)...
 
Wow, I had a build date of the 14th November and have just spoken to the dealer and I am collecting tomorrow, Just 10 days from build date!!

Another newbie here, had a build date initially of 21st November but current status is 39 being shipped - I guess on the African Highway into Sheerness. Maybe I won't have to wait for Xmas!!!
 
Anyone know what the below means? YourAudi says the car is currently in quality control but on Pro.Jsonlint.com it says status 30 but there is no status date next to it like the other status updates. Is it still on status 24 awaiting to move on to 30? Also status 24 has next week date?

Mine has been in preparation since 12th Nov and still showing a build date starting 5th Dec, this does this seem a long time compared to others on here. But then my whole order seems to be taking an age for a car that was ordered at the end of Sept
 
Mines not set to begin construction until the 16th January so there's going to be quite a wait!
 
16th Jan for me too, patience I've been told is a virtue
 
Mines on a ship currently but I'm told that the company lease provider may not release it until new year (so it's worth more at the end of lease being registered 2017 I guess) oh and I've got to have both bumpers resprayed on my current car yet to give it back :-(
 
Audi A4 Allroad Sport 272 ordered 4th November.
Had an email from the garage saying will be built in the next couple of weeks.
Confirmed on myAudi. Build week commencing 14th December.
 
Call from dealer yesterday, they are expecting the car within the next couple days and stage changed to 60 overnight. Delivery booked for next Friday 16th Dec but need to wait for our company car provider to sort all the paper work out in order for them to actually deliver. Little bit excited :-D
 
Well mines now status 70 at the dealer. Arrived Tuesday. Collection on Saturday.

Mine was built last week, which was a week earlier then planned and had left Ingolstadt on Monday. Not sure how many ships leave Emden between now and christmas but the Gran Canaria left today, whats the chances if it being on that? How long is the transit from the factory to Emden.

I hate waiting, when I ordered the car did not think I would spend my evenings looking at sailing schedules and tracking ships that my car may or may not be on :anguished:
 
The day has finally come....had a call from the dealer my car will be ready for collection on Friday. Nice early Christmas present

So mine has been in '3. Preparation' since November 26th with a planned build date of January 16th. Checking now though and it's gone straight to '7. Quality Control'

Not great for me planning to wait it out until 1st March!

You're not alone, mine was at stage 3 for weeks ahead of a 16/1/17 build date and is now at stage 7 "quality control". I can only assume Santa's little helpers have been busy or 1st January is like April's fools day for Germans
 
Oddly looking at the code data you can get from page 1 of this thread all dates are wrong, apparently body panel process began 16th January 2016 (yes 2016) and by the 19th January 2016 it was off to QC. So not sure if it's actually been built or just a new year has thrown out the website!
 
Same here. Order was placed mid November. Was in prep for weeks with a build date 16th Jan and all of a sudden became in QC last night. Let's hope it doesn't turn out to be a glitch..

Just checked mine again this morning and it's back to "3. Preparation" so was obviously a site error with it not able to handle the new year!
 
Must be some glitches in the system - I've just had 2 emails from Audi this morning, one saying my order has been accepted and the other saying it has finished build... Im glad considering it is sat waiting on a transporter at the Tyne!
