Hi!

Just recently added new set of wheels otoscope my Audi A3, However now it's looking like a monster truck.

Looking to get it lowered but don't want it to low, anybody recommend how much it should be lowered by and the best reasonably priced springs?

Sorry about quality of the photo took it last night!!

Hi,

I recently got new wheels and springs for my SE, I'm on 40-45mm H&R springs and 18s. The back rubs on speed bumps (depending on speed as well as the height of the speed bump), with 3 passengers it pretty much rubs on any slight change in the road .

I dont want mine too low because of the speed bumps around here are absolutly awful and I surely don't want them rubbing. My girl also has to drive the car so don't want her moaning that it's too low!

I get what you mean I felt the same way:sweatsmile: , mine doesn't rub too much I think I need to get used to going over speed bumps a little slower than usual or maybe its the screw in the rear arches that people on here recommend removing. To be safe maybe you should go for 30mm springs, just do a bit more research before you make your decision, check out these threads if you haven’t already:

Hows the ride with them going from stock se? Did you just change the springs or the dampners aswell?
I just changed the springs, it rides like standard, but tightens up more in the twisties
