Hi I have also asked this over on VWAF and had a few comments but wanted to see what you guys thought.
I have been offered some Q5 or A6 allroad rims and tyres that I want to use on my Audi A4 3.0 Tdi Avant Quattro 2010. Present tyres/rims on the car are 8K0 601 025 AA 19" rims with 255x35x19 tyres ET43 5x112 8.5J and I believe 66.5mm bore load rated at 96W.
Secondhand ones are 4F0 071 497 K identical to this https://www.willhaben.at/iad/kaufen...der-original-4stk-4f0-071-497k-527-162736727/
which are shod with 215/55R17 98H dunlop winter tyres. The rim spec is 7J 17H2 with and ET34 then au033 after that.
I have input the info onto this site http://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...55-17X7ET34&fcl=50mm&wcl=30mm&scl=50mm&sr=0mm and the only issue appears to be the scrub radius
and this site http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...eel_size=17&wheel_width=7&offset2=34#isPage=1
shows a visual look of the tyre wont foul on either suspension or wheel arch.
What do you guys think about the quite major ET difference 43 to 34, the scrub radius issue and also are those tyres a bit skinny? They should be ok load wise at 98.
Any help much appreciated I want to either buy or tell the seller pretty quickly its a no go.
Cheers
David
