What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

nothing special, gave the old bus a wash and dry, also collected my new rear door windows from the tint chaps, so out with the old and scratched rear door windows and in with the new ones, well over the weekend that is, looks like the whole doors have to be stripped down to get the window and the frame cartridge out, I expect all will become obvious as things progress.....

Leaving this showing the extent of the leather damage

Plan is to get it retrimmed alongside my steering wheel choice (once I finally make my mind up. So here it is in situ against the RS4 carbon trim.

Same as above. They were from eBay. £15 all in. Back and fronts. Quality ain't bad especially for the money. You can choose the colour and trim colour. I have had them 5 months now and all good but st the price I paid would be happy to replace every once and a while.

I picked up some folding mirrors for my B7 avant the other day, I've fit them and they're folding fine with the switch... does anyone know how to get them to fold in when locked?

this question has popped up a few times and I don't think they do on B7 .

Officially no, you can aftermarket wire them in, I've seen NHN mention it before but never seen proper details.

Dani, there was a thread on here somewhere about a retro fit method but the guy had so many issues afterwards with random folding and other things that he just put things back to standard ....

Yeah it's not straight forward rob. Annoying really as the Mrs Leon fr has it as standard.

Very nice Stue pot. Where did you buy the mesh? Any link? Thanks

Yes I did which inspired me to do it. Cost around £20 for a large sheet of mesh and about an hour to do it.

cleaned the spare wheel after getting a new tyre on it , and fitted 4 x wheel bolts after getting the garage to remove the locking nuts

Washed the wagon earlier and for the first time used Dodo Juice blue velvet wax, I think it looks good.

The cupra splitter does it not need painting?
The mesh on the fog grills, can they be removed without taking the bumper off?
Rob, I notice the left screw on your registration plate painted blue - now that's a real perfectionist!

grill covers just pull out so no issues there, to paint or not to paint the splitter, well all down to personal choice really I felt it looked better as is but that's just me and yes that plate screw was really bugging me one day so had to get it color co-ordinated...haha.
