Has anyone got vbox times of 0-60mph of both standard and tuned?
I did a few runs yesterday, 3.2 secs

Presume that was with launch control ?

One that 3.2 seconds earlier was parked at the top of a very steep hill....
Time taken on a flat section of road on an idustrial estate, not on a hill Thankyou!

Ooh... touchy!

It's impressive, getting a hatchback to do that sort of thing and retain some semblance of practicality always is. You've still a way to go before you beat acceleration due to gravity though. 0-60 in 3.2s averages out at around 8.4m/s^2. Another two or three hundred horsepower ought to do it if you want to match Mother Nature. ;-)

Wow, 3.2 is very impressive.

Using torque (gps corrected OBD speed) and an OBD adaptor is got 3.7 with my JB1 running 5psi on map 1 and as stock 4.6 - 4.7

Mine is a 3 door without any heavy options so I guess that helps a little

It's up there when you look at the list of supercar timesView attachment 103902

Truly impressive!

Just a little more boost and it would perhaps beat the Tesla ridiculous mode (2.9 sec) and bring proud and glory back to gasoline...

:blackrs4::rock:

But don't see it on list so let's say the 2.9 are paper figures anyway hehe...

Yes just made up figures, :)
I'll get a 2.9sec run when the weather is cooler and I've lightened the car up a bit, ie: seats out. Spare wheel out etc, maybe wear a carbon fibre outfit :)

What's the 0-100 time? Also would need to see the Vbox file to check the level of the ground. Also roll on on or off?

Good stage 2 cars can do 0-60 in 3.2 ish seconds with roll out on. I think the times 60 on is where is gets interesting.

Just practising just now, not checked the 0-100 yet, I'm working away from home just now so will do it at the weekend
I did a 62-124mph run, 8.1secs
The 3.2 test was with the car completely stationary with launch control
I take it that you get better times with the roll out on?

Where is the v box file then to show ground level, there's always doubters on here that aren't happy to beleive or see someone achieve good timings, I've invested time and a lot of money to get the car to over 500hp, so wish me luck with my car.

If complementing with other tests I think rolling start test in some interval from 50 mph and above would be interesting?

Would guess the difference (compared to other s3 8v:s/r7:s) would be bigger then since being able to run with optimum boost during almost all of the interval?

Using question marks on both sentences since not really being my expertise hehe...

Mark I have switched 1foot roll out off on the box.

Don't need to play with the settings, I've set it up perfectly :)

I will look over the logs when I see ya if you want to verify yourself you can do go on vboxverify.com

Don't doubt him, I've been in the car and sub 3 are possible with a little prep.

3.2s-60 road trim on a DQ250 is already touching its limits.

Have you tried 29psi yet? :D

Another tip, when you next do your 62-124 do a launch control start. Gear changes are faster when using launch control.

Lets get it into the 7's

Cheers Aoon, I'm home on Friday evening from London so I'll pop over on Saturday if your about

No doubting here mate. It just tells the full story when you see the Vbox log, like people have said upload onto www.vboxverify.com

A 3.2 screen time could be downhill quite a bit and more like 3.5 real time, not saying this is the case, but you get me.

Also if you have the 1 foot roll out setting turned on then the clock doesn't start until you have moved 1 foot, so the times are always quicker. Santa pod and all other 1/4 mile tracks use the 1 foot roll out for the 1/4 mile timing.

100-200kmh (62-124) is where it's at anyway, 8.1 is fast, I'm sure you can get into the 7's!

As you say, there will always be doubters.

Ignore them, and let them make up their own ideas.
I think you've achieved an excellent result,whether you measure it with a RR,the bum dyno,or V-Box.

What really counts is how the car feels to the person driving it,and how well it fits your requirements.
