Hi All,
Well my car came back from the body shop on Saturday and I am really happy with the finish. I got it done at a place called Moto-craft in Leeds and would recommend them to anyone, great set of guys.
So now its time to continue with my niggling issues, The performance still isn’t what I would expect, the other week I went out and had a bit of a mess around under the bonnet, I noticed that the turbo manifold bolts were loose so I tightened them up, then cleaned the maf and map sensor and just double checked everything around the turbo to make sure everything was tight. When I drove the car the next day it felt great so I assumed it was to do with the manifold bolts coming loose so I ordered some nordlock washer(in the meantime the performance had gone back to how it was previously). When I got the washers I fit them and tightened the bolts back up… no change in the performance
From trying to rule things out it looks as though it going to be the maf or map sensor so ive ordered a map to see if that improves anything.
Ohh by the way have attached a before and after pic of the car.
