I'm looking to buy an s line A6 avant but the one I have seen has a rather vague advert as to what it has fitted.

From what I can see the car has the mmi touchpad, which is one of the things I was looking for as I would like the larger screen, but doesn't have the two sd card slots in the dash. Can anyone tell me what it has fitted please, or is there anything else to check when I have a look at it.

Having had a read on here it looks like there are some places I can find a spec list if I have the vin so I will try and get that when I have a look at it

Headlights look like the xenon units, fitted as standard on s line? As I understand it the bi xenon use xenon for dipped and full beam so will put the full beam on and see if it has a similar "colour" to the dipped. Looking at the different lights the differences seem quite subtle, and not something. That can be made out looking at varying quality snaps on the Internet!

Looking forward to returning to Audi ownership soon..

Thank you for any help

The SD card slot are hidden behind a flap, almost certain that they all come with the slots. It may not have the third slot, for the SIM card but the others should be there.

Stick the advert up here - or just the pics if you can, we can have a collective nosey and maybe help out on the lights etc?

What model year we talking?
Mine's 2013 and has two slots on the dash, one for Satnav, one for general use.

Hi thank you for the replies. The car is here

http://www.perrys.co.uk/audi-a6-2.0-tdi-s-line-5-door/used-car-52391-22732873

Mileage looks high but being honest I think the lowest I'd find for my money is about 50k. I also don't want to go much higher than 70k. The niceties we are looking for are heated seats, electric boot opening, upgraded sat nav and xenon lights. Anything else would be a bonus

Not too fussed about manual or auto but will check the gear change is smooth and the clutch feels ok as I'm guessing they're not cheap!

Any thoughts/advice much appreciated

The pics on my phone aren't great resolution, but I'm not sure it has the touchpad...... Looks like the basic SD nav. Though the lights look like xenon. Will have another look when I'm back in front of the laptop tomorrow.

Have you rang them and asked for a spec sheet?

In picture (#20 I think) you can just see a "SIM" icon in the bottom corner of the MMI display. This is shown when an Audi Connect equipped car doesn't have a SIM card inserted or an RSAP Bluetooth phone connected at present.

So it looks like you may have the tech pack.

That is a tech pack car and will have the sim slot.

Thank you for the replies. Yep, two SD and one sim slot in the dash and the car was pretty much the spec we were looking for. Also rang a local audi dealer to double check service history who were brilliant, telling me little bits to check and being generally helpful and reassuring. As a result I will very soon be the owner of a nice a6 avant
