Thinking of doing the same... However, I'm new to all this and have no idea how to find a reputable detailer and what to ask for if I did lol

Been looking back at pics of my Daytona Grey 2012 A3 S-line which was poverty spec compared to yours! The Virtual Cockpit and new headlights/bumpers make it a lot sharper, and really move things on in a subtle way.
I said it yesterday and I'll say it again.... Daytona Grey has loads of personality. Looks fab!!
Quite a wet one when I picked her up yesterday, so here are a couple from a grey Sunday. Virtual cockpit and B+O an absolute win/must have.
Daytona grey with standard 18 inch allows is a better look than I expected.
Only con so far - when putting golf clubs in the boot, needed to take the driver out of the bag as it is too long - not a problem in the Golf which has a bigger inlay behind the wheel arch which the club heads can sit in. S3's privacy glass then comes into play.

Good looking car mate. Made a trip up to Glasgow in mine last week. Clocked a few drivers slowing down on the motorway to have a look.Cheers mate! Drove it back from Oxford to Warrington today and got a fair few head turns on the way up. Not many people must have seen the facelift.. Will get pictures of all interior lighting once it goes dark enough.

Sorry for the lack of pics.....been out driving
The car is an absolute joy to drive, love the s-tronic box, and virtual cockpit, vc will be a must have tool if you do a lot of mileage, and so glad I spec'd it. Navarra blue is very dark, but gleams in the sun, I love it (no swirls detected on dealer pick-up), but will be hard work to keep looking mint through winter, and not one rattle or squeak detected in the cabin.
See you all out on the road.

Was wondering what the new led headlamps are like?
Can you compare them to xenons at all?
I've never had Xenon's, I did however have LED headlights on my old 14 plate Polo. These new ones in the A3 are a cut above, they light the road ahead very well and are a huge improvement over what I have been used to.. I'm sure I read something on here a while back saying the new LEDs on the FL have been rated higher than the previous model?

Here's a few exterior pics of my Navarra Blue S3. Collected it on Saturday, no pics until today though as it's been raining.
Car is fantastic, really really pleasedView attachment 102360 View attachment 102361 View attachment 102362 View attachment 102363 View attachment 102364 View attachment 102365
There's a huge amount of "energy" and vibrancy coming from those photos... some of the best Navarra I've seen posted in outside conditions.
Cheers for that..
The missus has a Leon with led's and I find them ok but the xenons on my car I find are brighter with the only issue being I think they need to be adjusted to light the road further ahead...It's going in for it's first oil change in the next month so will ask dealer to adjust them..
Would like to know what other F/L guys who have had the P/FL think about the led's also...

Where are all you Brilliant blacks at!? Am i the only one braving it? Few pictures i got at the weekend, nothing special. Post Wash, clay, polish, glaze, seal & wax...
If there was ever an incentive to make people use there indicators, it would be dynamic indicators! I'm always signalling now, for absolutely everything! thanking every Tom, **** and Harry on the road with my hazards getting out of hand really...
I really wish i got the roof rails on mine. I suppose they could be fitted later if i decide i want themRoof rails..............awesome choice mate.............a sportback aint a sportback without them....they add another dimension of contrast and work well with the chrome grill and Matt Alu door mirror covers...
just realised the facelift cars have the rear reflectors seperate to the lights
why is that ?
