As the title suggests - can any S4 owners recommend a good, reliable garage that are happy working on an S4 in the South East area. Closer to Brighton the better, but happy to travel.

Mainly for routine maintenance and could do with a good inspection to begin with.

Mine goes to qst in Haywards Heath a lot.

I've found http://camspeconline.com not too far from Brighton, they've got their own Audi master tech on-site who I would trust more than a main dealer, at least on my 12yr old S4. Other than that, QST in Haywards Heath have good reviews, based on what you want done.

Cheers for the replies.

@cobraBLACK might be a little to be honest, but thanks.

QST was one I was considering and Cam Spec definitely looks worth checking out. Nice bit of research.

Cheers people.

Just bought my S4 .2004.88000miles Any recommended garages near Rochester?

I found QST to be lacking in knowlege when it came to the S4. Gave me totally wrong info which I knew to be wrong.

Thanks for info. I'll look elsewhere. Anyone tried Youngs in Wrotham?

I have heard good things about 4 rings in Dartford.

I was enquiring about getting my S4 on their rollers and if they could map it. The bloke was telling me how its pointless to modify/tune a S4 as you can't extract any more power from them. It's quite well documented online that power can be extracted quite easily. If they were worth their salt then they'd know this.
In the end I decided to go for a JHM remap. For any future rolling road days I'll be going to Surrey rolling road. Can't argue with £40 for a run! QST wanted £90.

Interesting. I've always found qst very knowledgable to be fair and they used to have a B6 S4 cab which they heavily modded. Saw it there once many many years ago. Nice looking car too. Maybe re mapping a B6 S4 is not their bag anymore.

Were you pleased with the JHM re map? Do you feel much difference?

I still haven't done the remap, just trying to sort out all the maintenance issues before I start modifying.

The Phirm in Camberley. I use them even though it's an 80 mile round trip. Best by far IMHO
