Anyone know what clips are used for the interior door cards?

I'm sure we've been through this before :tearsofjoy:

This type CLICKY and Part Number 8E0868243. They maybe cheaper from the stealers or TPS though.

Have we? Mate my brains mashed with the new job and baby and on top of that I've got a stock pile of parts longer than my arm in the shed waiting to go on, I'm trying to buy all the corresponding parts to do various jobs in a one hit rather than go over the same areas haha.

It's the little touches that make the difference.

Well on eBay they are £15 haha. Spoke to Mike and was delivered for the grand some of........ £5.50 haha, total joke on the eBay mark up prices. Worth every penny if you ask me.

The funny thing is that everyone thinks they are getting a bargain on eBay when it's cheaper from the stealers

just make sure there's no left over sand granules in them bucket when you use for car washing chap or you'll get a nice paint finish afterwards....

You are one step ahead of me though. Mine are still sat in the conservatory :D

Such a tricky item to fit, I'll wait for a technician to do it at work ;)

Haha, did take some effort mate I must say.

I'm terrible for ordering parts and leaving them sat for ages.
My Mrs hates it! She never knows what is old scrap and what is "work in progress"

You need to see my shed at the minute, no word of a fly theirs a 1/4 of a car in parts waiting to be fitted haha, just struggling for the time. Will update my thread accordingly though, should make for good reading.

What i have done today - trip of 130 miles from AITP8 to home.... And a few 100's pics ;) no Mods this weekend but RS4 gear stick is on the way ;)

I'll be going next year, was tempted to go this year but the car isn't ready. It'll take a while to get it to my standard.

I did think about it but I doubt my old bus would be upto the high standard of all those lovely audi's there.....maybe next year when I have the rs here.

I like my Audi but not into the show stuff etc anymore really.
Did that years ago with the beetle shows.
Saying that though if it was local I would have probably had a wonder round.

Well not the Audi but I've been busy on the Mrs car today....little bit of welding on the front subframe. Took me longer to get the welder out from the far end of the garage than it did to weld the two plates :confounded:

And pulled the gearbox out as it needs a new clutch which I will finish off tomorrow as my old joints are aching now with having to do it on my back.

sounds like you best put your feet up now carl , open a beer and just chillout.....

Just looking for a good film with a great soundtrack to annoy the neighbours with and chill....

Anyway, back to the order of the day, decided to make a start on the rear window glass refit this afternoon, picked up some suitable tint film from halfrauds this morning , all tooled up and ready to go and then it all went pete tong rapidly.
tint film was total rubbish , couldn't get it do anything even hair dryer woudnt help, then when I was just about there the wife suddenly comes out with "rob, its darker than the rest" arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to say the least, turns out Halfords dark is 15% and my current ones on thedoors are 35% .
So add that messup to the fitting farse i'd had enough and pulled it all of, going to take it back tomorrow for a refund as the tint film is total rubbish.
anyway. a few pics, nothing special just glass and a screwed up piece of tint film and a waste of a nice afternoon....I suppose the only upside of this messup as that it saved me using the wrong shade and having to do it all again, dropping the glass of at my local windscreen guys tomorrow and getting them to do the tinting now, works out the same in the long run, well I hope so.
